Overview: (From E.B. Games.com) Freedom Force faces off against the original Axis of Evil!
New threats call for new heroes to rise. As Nuclear Winter returns with a new ploy to destroy Freedom Force and the free world, three new silver age heroes, Tombstone, Green Genie and Quetzacoatl, step up to help thwart evil. When the \'Pesky Ruskie\'s\' plan unfurls, Freedom Force finds themselves transported to war-torn Europe circa WWII! The team will have to make an alliance with Sky King, Black Jack and Tricolour, three Golden Age heroes willing to sacrifice everything to save the world from the evil axis powers. Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich features six new playable characters as well as a hoard of new villains, a brand new engine with radically enhanced graphics and vastly improved multiplayer including several brand new modes.

Violence:

This is a Role Playing Game, so you choose what you do, unfortunatly this includes the possibility to smack around -and destroy- innocent civilians and your fellow superheroes. Although this is completely up to the player, it is still in there. The violence is comic book style and is not graphic or bloody. It\'s no more violent than the original Freedom Force. Violence: 5/10

Language:

Although there is not that much language, the language used is what is going to hurt the rating. In the \'Origin of Tombstone\' Tombstone uses the Lord\'s name in vain. Sadly, many people don\'t consider this bad language. Language: 5/10

Sexual Content/Nudity:

There is no sexual content in the game, but the Green Genie\'s costume is kind of revealing. And the full version uses heroes from the original Freedom Force, and some of those heroes-Like Eve, Alchemiss, and a few others- have revealing costumes (some more than others). Sexual Content/Nudity: 8.5/10

Occult/Supernatural:

The Green Genie uses magic in the game, and Tombstone is an undead who can posess people and turn dead bodies into zombies,(Although in these are some of his more advanced powers and you can\'t unlock them in the demo.) Also, in the full version, You can make your characters use magic, Alchemiss got her powers from a goddess, and Eve sometimes calls out to Gaia (see the Freedom Force review). This is a weak point for the game. Also since you fight the Nazis there may be some Swastikas. Occult/Supernatural: 3.5/10

Cultural/Moral/Ethical:

Besides the fact you can commit random destruction and destroy everything (and everyone) in the landscape, not much wrong in this area since this is optional and not required (or asked/promoted either. It actually makes you lose prestige points). Cultural/Moral/Ethical: 8.5/10

Gameplay:

The gameplay is good. The enviroment is extremly interactive and you can even destroy the signs on a building, or throw a life preserver on a boat at someone, or knock over a building. The gameplay is involves strategy as the heroes have certain strengths and weaknesses. The Character Maker is non-existant in the demo, but if the full version\'s editor is anything like the original Freedom Force editor, that it will be very in depth and you can edit almost everything about your character. The demo only has one level, which gets boring if played over and over. I think the demo might have multiplayer. The demo is only a tiny bit of what the full version will hold. Gameplay:17/20

Graphics:

The graphics didn\'t seem too different from the first Freedom Force. They have to use 2D textures for the characters so that way they can make them accessible for editing. Otherwise the graphics are good. There is even shading and particle effects. They do a good job of making them look like they are from a comic book Graphics:7/10

Sound:

The voice acting is really good. Freedom Force actually got an award for best acting. The sound effects are good and it really has a comic book feel to it. Sound:9/10

Stability:

The game is pretty stable. They probably fixed most of the glitches from the first game, and I didn\'t notice any glitches. Stability: 5/5

Controls/Interface:

The interface is vastly improved from the first one, and the controls are pretty quick to learn. Virtually everything is done with the mouse. Controls/Interface: 4/5
