Thank you Gagli for sending these to review!
Well, we've finally arrived. I never expected to reach this milestone, but my wife was offered the opportunity to review Men's underwear, and graciously volunteered me to do so. I agreed as long I didn't have to be a model. And so here we are - a review of underwear from Christ Centered Gamer. The funny thing is, I actually really do like these - enough that I'd buy more.
For a long time I wore normal cotton, until I found that it could lead to serious problems when it was really hot or I was active. After that rather unpleasant experience, I then switched to polyester, and those problems largely went away. (My drawer has lots of stuff in it I will no longer wear. Maybe I should just get rid of them?)
Despite the comfort of synthetic fibers, there are some downsides, too. As we have lived with them more and more, we've learned that synthetics can lead to microplastics in our bloodstream and other parts of our bodies. As we all learned in school, plastics don't degrade, so once deposited, they pretty much never go away. This cannot be good, right? Thankfully, material science is ever-evolving, and we now have suitable replacements that are made from natural materials that are almost as comfortable - if not moreso.

Strong Points: Extremely comfortable, doesn't trap too much heat
Weak Points: If you use a fly, these aren't for you
The Gagli 3" boxer briefs are made primarily with cotton and modal. I'm sure most readers know what cotton is, but modal a newer material made from highly-processed beechwood tree fibers. While some chemicals are used in its creation, the fiber itself is not synthetic. It also feels really smooth to the touch - not quite silk, but pretty smooth. At least as implemented here, they seem to breathe pretty well, too.
They use a perforated fabric near the bottom, making it breathe and stretch even better where heat tends to gather. I have other pairs with a similar design, and that is certainly appreciated.

Rather than a fly, this design simply has a pouch area, designed for maximum comfort. I have had no comfort issues wearing these, so I'd say it worked out. But if you use the fly regularly, you might want to consider other options.
Underwear is something that is best when you don't have to think about it. Gagli's Men's Underwear Boxer Briefs are pretty good in this regard - you can mostly forget about them while you're wearing them. If you are having a hard time finding the perfect pair, I would say give these a try. They are comfortable, and stay out of the way. And, they use mostly natural fibers. There's a lot to like. I don't know how to give a bigger complement than to say I'm considering buying more.
