Thank you FIFINE for sending us these speakers to review!
We have had the honor of reviewing multiple FIFINE microphones in the past and have been impressed by their offerings. This is our first opportunity to review a set of their speakers. There are many options out there and at the time of this review, these speakers are below $40. On the flipside, there are other RGB speakers with the same 4-star review average for under $10!
I’m spoiled by my gaming desktop’s sound setup with two Pioneer BS22 speakers and a Rockville 8” subwoofer. I know that the A20 speakers won’t stack up in power or price, but let’s see how they fare in sound quality and convenience.
Strong Points: Easy to setup and use; many RGB options
Weak Points: No bass so they’re not great for audiophiles
Upon receiving the A20’s I was surprised by how small they are! Setting them up is super easy. They need USB for power and the 3.5mm plug for audio. These compliment laptops nicely and can be well-suited for an office environment. The RGB lighting can be disabled if you want them to be discreet.
The A20 speakers are small, measuring at 3.4"D x 3.8"W x 5.1"H. Despite their small size, they can get pretty loud if your OS volume meter is maxed out. Additionally, the volume is controlled by +/- buttons on the right speaker. The right speaker also controls the various RGB lighting modes (multicolor rainbow, rotating colors, breathing/rotating colors, fading colors, animated rotating colors, gradient colors) and solid colors (red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, pink). Pressing the RGB button on top for several seconds will disable the lighting if desired. The left speaker has the power/mute button.

While the A20 speakers are decent for most games and podcasts, they are woefully inadequate for bass heavy music or rhythm games. FIFINE also sells speaker bundles that include subwoofers and those may be a better option to have a more well-rounded sound system. The A20 is a cute set of speakers that won’t take up much space and can be a portable option for a docked Nintendo Switch. The fact that USB is required for power does limit these speakers a bit.
Gamers have a lot options whether its headsets, complete sound systems, or a portable set of speakers. If you enjoy RGB lighting and don’t mind the lack of bass, the FIFINE Ampligame A20 speakers are an affordable option. For portability, I prefer to pack a headset while traveling. If I was in the market for gaming speakers I would prefer a set that offers a fuller sound. When I had an office I brought in our Creative Labs Sound Blaster Katana SE and got many compliments on it. It's worth noting that the Katana SE is a $230 speaker. The A20’s are a viable candidate for office use too. FIFINE offers free shipping, thirty-day returns and a two year warranty on their site.
