TIPS, TRICKS, AND NEEDED INFO TO PLAY THE GAME

Arrow Keys Moves Minnesota Cuke around.

Space Bar Jumps.

CTRL Throws lasso(or banana)(or use Bubble Gum).

ESC To stop playing.

Monkey Icons Collect 100 for an extra life.

CUKE Spell Cuke in a level to get an extra life.

Bananas You get 10 per bunch, use to pacify certain enemies

for a short time, or dispose of other enemies.

Check Point Sign Looks like a french pea on a sign. If you die in

a level, you will be restarted at this sign.

Exit Level Sign A sign with three 'Z's on it.

Extra Life Look's like a Minnesota Cuke hat.

Invincibility Shield Look's like a 'C' on a yellow shield(lasts 30 seconds).

Full Yellow Circle On the map, a level that you have found all of the

secrets will show as a full yellow circle.

Bubble Gum Gives you thirty seconds with the ability to blow a

bubble, and float up in the air for a bit. Use this

to access higher areas/items.

Swing Jump This is an important skill to learn in later levels of

this game. While swinging, press the arrow of the direction

you want to go towards, and then when you are at the height

of your swing to that direction, press the jump button, and

the arrow key in that direction to get a more powerful

jump(for example higher and farther).

Ways to dispose of enemies:

Jump on their heads

Use your lasso(does not work on all enemies)

Throw a banana at them(pacifies monkeys, disposes of peas)

Slide Attack: Press down while on a slope.

Tuba: will make all monkeys on the screen run off.

Lasso Your lasso is extremely handy. If you jump up to a branch

but are just a little below it; your lasso will grab the

branch, and then you can pull yourself up. Your lasso

also disposes of many enemies. In addition, your lasso

will allow you to swing from select areas( i.e. branch

stubs).

EXTRA POINTS:

You can get bonuses to your points if you string together

how many enemies you dispose of at the same time. A

great enemy to get a triple bonus off of is the two peas

hiding behind a witch doctor's mask. Jump on the mask,

and then use your bounce to hit the first pea, finally

use that bounce to hit the second pea. Triple bonus!!

INTRODUCTION

Watch the into movie to get the start of the plot. Larry the Cucumber

plays Minnesota Cuke. Bob the Tomato is the back at the base guide.

Minnesota Cuke has gotten the Ancient Crock of Hookie Balookie(buy the game

if you don't believe me). He is flying back to the Ye Olde Museum, when

his plane crashes. Have no fear, for Minnesota Cuke parachutes out in

time. Unfortunately, he loses the Ancient Crock of Hookie Balookie. So,

you have to get the Ancient Crock of Hookie Balookie back. You land in the

jungle, a little ways away from your crashed plane.

JUNGLE 1

Go to the right, and get the monkey icons, and dispose of the monkey.

Keep going to the right. Climb the vine, and get on the branch. Jump

to the right, and hidden at the top of the screen is the 'C' icon. Go to

the right, and use the trampoline to get up to the branch with more monkey

icons. Go right, but do not jump yet, hidden among the flowers along the

ground is the 'U' icon. Now jump up into the branches, and go to the right.

Jump to the right, and your lasso will grab the branch. Continue to the

right over the gap. Dispose of the monkey, and jump into the branches

to get the monkey icons. Continue to the right, grab the banana's, and

go past the checkpoint Sign. Just past the sign, on the ground, hidden

by some bushes is the 'K' icon. Continue to the right, use a banana to pacify

the monkey, and then jump the gap. Go to the right, and then climb the

vine to get another bunch of banana's. Jump to the right to take care

of the monkey, and then use the trampoline to get to the high branch to

the right. Grab the monkey icons and the heart. Go to the right, pacify

the monkey, and grab the monkey icons on the branch. Jump over the

brambles, and pacify the monkey, and continue to the right. Go down the

hill, grab more monkey icons on some more branches. Take care of the

monkey on the last branch, and then hit the Check Point Sign. Go right

up the hill, and then use the trampoline to get the monkey icons, and

then use the trampoline to get over the brambles. Use the second

trampoline to get over some more brambles, and then take care of the

monkey. Get the monkey icons in the branches, and then drop down to

grab the 'E' icon hidden on the ground behind some bushes. Jump up, and

take care of the monkey, and grab the monkey icons on that branch.

Use the trampoline to get to the right. There is another monkey to

take care of, and some more monkey icons. Keep going to the right,

taking care of the monkeys you run across. Eventually you will go

up he hill, get the monkey icons on the branches, and drop down to the

Exit Level Sign. Congrats you have beaten the first level of the game.

JUNGLE 2

Go to the right, and get the monkey icons on the branch. Now go up the

hill, and take care of the monkey. Go down the hill, and take care of

the next monkey. Jump the pit, and get the monkey icons. Go to the

right, and into the branch. Take care of the monkey on the branch, and

get the monkey icons. Go to the higher branch, and jump to the right.

Swing on stub to get the 'C'icon. Go to the right, and get some monkey icons

on a branch, also take care of the monkey. At the next tree get the heart,

monkey icons, and take care of the monkey. Go right for a Check Point

Sign. Go up, and then down the hill. Stay on the ground to get the 'U' icon

hidden by a bush. Then go into to the branches for some monkey icons.

Go up to the tall branch, and then jump to the right for a stump. Swing

on the stump to get some monkey icons. Go up the hill, and then jump

to the right over the pit. Get the monkey icons in the branches. Jump

to the next branch for some more monkey icons, and banana's. Jump

normally, or use the trampoline to get to the right. Drop down to the

ground from the branches, and you will find the 'K' icon there. Then jump

to the right for a Check Point Sign. Go to the right, and up the hill.

Be careful, at the top of the hill is a monkey. After taking care of

the monkey, continue on down the hill. At the bottom of the hill jump

to the right. Go into the branches to take care of the monkey, and grab

some more monkey icons. Get some more monkey icons on the next tree's

branches. Drop down to the ground, and take care of the monkey on the

ground. Now use the trampoline to get over the pit to the right. Go

into the branches, and climb up them to get across the next pit. At

the end of the long branch there is a vine going up, and off screen.

Take that vine up. Welcome to a secret room. Grab the monkey icons,

the extra life, and the 'E' icon. To exit the secret room walk into the

Check Point Sign. You are now back near the vine. Drop down to the

ground, and go to the right. Use the trampoline to get to the right.

Take care of the monkey on the ground, and go into the branches for

the monkey icons. Then walk up to the Exit Level Sign.

JUNGLE 3

You have to be on your toes at the start of this level. There is a

monkey who is close enough to hit you as soon as you start the level.

Quickly go to the right, and take care of that monkey. Jump to the

branches and take care of that monkey there. Use the trampoline to

get over to the next branch. Drop down in the middle of the tree to

get the 'C' icon. Go back into the branches, and go to the right. Swing

across the tree stubs to get the 'U' icon, and some monkey icons. Swing to

the next branch. Be careful of the pea. You can not lasso him. You

can jump on his head, or hit him with a banana. Take care of the

monkey on the next branch, and grab the monkey icons. Go up the hill,

and jump onto the branches on the right. Jump to the second tree with

a vine hanging down. Drop down, and get the 'K' icon on the ground. Be very

careful though. Do not go any farther to the right once you get the 'K' icon.

There is a springboard trap the will send you flying to your death.

Climb the vine back up to the branch. Go across the branch to the right,

and be careful of the pea you come across. Grab the banana's if you

want, and take care of the pea. Then go to the right, and take care of

the monkey. Continue on to the right. Go into the branches, to get

some more monkey icons, and take care of another monkey. Drop down to

the ground for a Check Point Sign. Go up the vine to the right for some

more monkey icons, and another pea. Jump across the pit, by jumping from

branch to branch. Another pea is on the ground, so take care of him.

Then head to the right. Jump into the branches, and then swing to the

right. Swing across to the right again. Do not drop down here, because

there is another swingboard trap on the ground. Keep going to the right

across the branches. Then drop down to the ground to take care of a

monkey, and for another Check Point Sign. Go up the hill, and then down

the hill. Then jump into the branch of the tree there. Jump as high as

you can, and at the top of the screen hidden by the tree leaves is the

'E' icon. Go right on the branches for an extra life, pea enemy, and some

more monkey icons. Jump to the right for a monkey, and the last monkey

icons. Drop down to the right, and see the crashed plane. Enjoy the

next cut scene.

PEA VILLAGE 1

Welcome to the first level of the Pea Village. There will be some new

enemies to take care of in this world. From the start go to the right,

and jump the gap that the tree hides. Then get the monkey icons on the

branch. Jump over to the right for a pea, and some monkey icons. Jump

to the right again for another pea, and some more monkey icons. Jump down

to the ground for two peas walking slowly behind a witch doctor's mask.

Then go up into the branch for some more monkey icons. Back down for another

pea. Climb up the rope onto the branch. Stand directly above the little

underbranch foliage, and jump up for the 'C' icon. Jump to the right, to the

next branch, for another two peas behind a witch doctor's mask. Get the

monkey icons and then drop down to get the heart. Now go to the right. Use

the pulleys to get up to the high branch where the Invincibility Shield is.

Jump to the next branch, and use the branch stubs to swing to get some monkey

icons, and a heart. Drop down to the Check Point Sign. Jump up to the

bridge, and get the monkey icons, and take care of the monkey. Jump up to

the branch stub and swing to the right. Jump to the tallest branches, and

then jump back to the left for the 'U' icon. Use the pulleys to get to the right.

Take care of the pea, and then stand just past the door of the second hut.

Jump up for the 'K' icon. Fall down to the branch, and then the ground for some

more monkey icons. Take care of the peas on the ground. Go to the right,

climb the rope, and then jump back to the branch to the left for some more

monkey icons. Go back down to the ground, and jump to the lower right for

some more pulleys. Ride them for a heart, and the 'E' icon. Jump up to the

higher branch for some monkey icons, and two peas behind a witch doctor's

mask. Go to the right for a Check Point Sign. Ride the pulleys for some

monkey icons, and to get to the branches on the right. Jump to the branch

to the right for some monkey icons, and a pea. Then jump to the branch with

more monkey icons, and a monkey. Then take care of a pea, and get some more

monkey icons. Jump to the next branch for the last monkey icons, and another

pea. Go to the right for the Exit Level Sign.

PEA VILLAGE 2

Jump to the right to take care of a pea, and to get some monkey icons.

Jump up to the branch to the right, you may have to hang from it, and then

pull yourself up. Jump to the right for another pea, and some more

monkey icons. Go to the right for some more pulleys. Stand just to the

left of the pulleys, and jump up for the 'C' icon. Use the pulleys, and then

use the tallest farthest right branch to jump off of to the right. You

will land safely, if you jump from that branch. Take care of the two

peas behind the witch doctor's mask. Get the heart, and then drop down

to the Check Point Sign. Go to the right for a pea on the ground, and a

monkey in the branches. Jump up into the branches and then swing to the

right. On the branch you land on, jump up into the tree foliage at the

top of the screen to get the 'U' icon. If you look carefully you can just

see the bottom of the icon. Drop down for another two peas hiding

behind a witch doctor's mask. Jump up to the pulleys, and use them to

get some more monkey icons. Jump to the right for two more peas behind

a witch doctor's mask. DO NOT IMMEDIATELY KILL THEM!! Instead jump

over them, and stand to the far right. Look up, and you will see the

bottom of the 'K' icon. You can not reach it with your jump. Instead

wait for the enemy to get close to you, jump on him, and that will give

you the height to get the 'K' icon. Jump to the right for an Invincibility

Shield. Jump to the right for some more monkey icons, and another two

peas hiding behind a witch doctor's mask. Drop down, and then jump

over for the Check Point Sign. Jump to the right for some more monkey

icons, and another pea. Jump up into the branches for some more monkey

icons, a heart, and a monkey. Drop down for another two peas behind

a witch doctor's mask. Then jump up a little to a bridge with two

single pea's on it. Stand in the center of this bridge, and then press

the down arrow key, and the space bar to fall through the bridge. This

will drop you into the secret room with the 'E' icon, and extra life, a heart,

and some monkey icons. Note you can only make it into the secret room

by dropping from the center of the bridge. Go into the Check Point Sign

to be transported back from the secret room. Jump down to the right for

another pea, and some more monkey icons. Jump to the right for the last

monkey icons, and the Exit Level Sign.

PEA VILLAGE 3

Jump down from the ledge to the right for two peas behind a witch doctor's

mask. Then go up into the branch to the right for some monkey icons.

Drop back down to the ground, and jump right for a bridge with a pea, some

monkey icons, and a heart on it. Jump back down to the ground for some

more monkey icons, and two peas(singles). Then up into the branch with

two peas behind a witch doctor's mask, and some monkey icons. Then jump

over to the right, and onto the ground for two peas(singles), and some more

monkey icons. Jump up into the small branch, and take a leap of faith

jump to just make the long branch to the right. There are some monkey

icons, and two peas behind a witch doctor's mask. Jump to the branch to

the right to take care of the pea, and then jump to the right again for

two peas behind a witch doctor's mask, and of course some more monkey icons.

Drop down to the ground for a Check Point Sign. Jump up onto the branch

to access the pulleys. Once in the pulley jump up to get the 'C' icon. Jump

to the next branch after the pulleys. Then use the branch stubs to swing

across for some more monkey icons. After a couple of branch stubs, you

will latch onto a bridge with two peas hiding behind a witch doctor's

mask, a heart, and some monkey icons. Stand to the left, and use the enemy

to propel yourself high enough to get the 'U' icon. Jump to the right for

a branch with some monkey icons, and a pea. Drop down to the ground for

a monkey, and some more monkey icons. Go to the right for a branch with

some monkey icons, and a monkey. Use the pulleys to get to the right.

Drop down for the Check Point Sign. Jump over to the right. There are

some enemies down here: two peas behind a witch doctor's mask, then a single

pea, then two more peas behind a witch doctor's mask, and of course some

more monkey icons. Now jump into the branches for some more monkey icons.

The third branch has a pea on it. Drop back down to the ground for two peas

behind a witch doctor's mask. Go to the right, and then jump into the branches

for a pea, and a monkey, along with monkey icons. At the tall branch(you know

the second one that had the monkey on it); jump back to the left to get the

'K' icon. Then come back to that tall branch, and jump to the right side to

get the 'E' icon. You will land on a branch with a peas on it. Use the

branch stub to swing safely to the right. Take care of(or jump over) the

two peas behind the witch doctor's mask. Use the two sets of pulleys to

get to the right. The third set of pulleys has an extra life on it. Wait

on the third set of pulleys until you are at the apex(top) of the pulley

to jump over to the fourth set of pulleys. When the fourth set of pulleys

is to the far right, jump down to the ground to the right. You will see

a rather large red ape run off with the Ancient Crock. Enjoy the

wonderful cut scene.

RIVER 1

Go to the right, jump over the pit, and then take care of the monkey.

Now go into the branches for some monkey icons. Go up the hill, and

jump to the right(be careful of the fish that come out of the water).

Jump on the branch, and then jump back to the left for the 'C' icon. Go

back on the branch, and jump to the right to swing from a branch stub in

order to get a heart. When you drop down to the ground take care of the

monkey and the pea. Go up the hill, and take care of the pea. Go down

the hill and take care of another pea(you can use your slide attack if

you like). Then go up the next hill to take care of a monkey. Jump

over the pond to the right(and remember there are fish coming from here).

Now go into the branches to get some monkey icons. Drop back down to the

ground to take care of a monkey. Hidden behind some rocks on the ground

is the 'U' icon. Go to the right for a branch with a monkey, and some

more monkey icons. Jump to the right, and use the branch stub to swing to

the top of the little cliff wall. There are three peas on this slope

down. You can use your slide attack. There is also a springboard trap

at the bottom of the hill, but it does not kill you. Jump into the

branches, and then jump to the right from the first branch to get the

'K' icon. Drop down to the ground to the Check Point Sign. Notice some

bubble gum up high on the screen? Remember where it is, but do not get

it just yet. Jump over the pond, and take care of the monkey there.

Jump across the ponds with the flying fish, and eventually you will come

to a branch. Get on that branch for some monkey icons. Now drop to the

ground to take care of a monkey. Jump across the pits, and take care of

another monkey. Go up and down some hills with a pea, and then a Check

Point Sign. Go to the right for another pea, and then a vine up into a

branch. Jump to the right, and then use your Slide Attack to take care

of two peas. Now go to the right for a monkey, and then a monkey on a

small ledge. Just above that monkey on that ledge is the 'E' icon. You

can not use him to propel you high enough to get the 'E' icon. So dispose

of him. Now go back to where the bubble gum was. Use the branch stubs

to get to the gum. Now go to the right quickly and get back to where the

'E' icon is. You should get there with 9 to 10 seconds left on the bubble

gum since you cleared the way first. Stand under the 'E' icon, and jump

up. At the apex of your jump press the CTRL key to use the bubble gum.

You will float up to the 'E' icon. If you are short, press CTRL a second

time. You can use it multiple times. Then jump to the hill going up

with three peas on it. Then go to the right for a slope going down and

two peas on it. You can use your Slide Attack to take care of them.

Finally to the right for the Exit Level Sign.

RIVER 2

First off be careful in this level, boulders randomly will roll along

the ground right at you. Go to the right up the hill, and take care of

the pea, and the monkey. Go down the hill with two peas, and a springboard

trap at the bottom of the hill. Just to the right of the springboard

trap is the 'C' icon. To the right of that is a monkey on a ledge. To

the right of the monkey is a pea, and then a pond(remember fish come jumping

out of the ponds). Jump over the pond, and then go to the right for a vine

with a pea on the branch. Jump to the right from this branch for a branch

stub; from which you can swing on to get some monkey icons. Drop to the

ground, and take care of the monkey on the ledge. Jump to the next branch

stub to swing across to the right. Then jump over the next pond for a Check

Point Sign. In the tree branch is a heart. Jump from that branch to a branch

stub to swing over to another branch on your right. Jump down to the ground

to take care of a monkey. Go up the hill for another monkey. Jump into

the branches for some monkey icons. Use the branch stub to swing over to

the right. Jump down to the ground, and take care of the monkey. Jump up

to the second branch stub. You want to swing up to the third branch stub

which is up higher. Here is how to do it: press up, and right at the same time;

at the height of your swing to the right, press the spacebar(jump); and keep

pressing them while in the air. It may take some practice, but you should

make it. Now swing from the third branch stub up to the branch to the right

(use the same technique to make it). Get the bubble gum. You must be fast

to make all of this work now. Float to the left to get a monkey icon, and

the 'U' icon. When your bubble gum pops, just press CTRL again. Now drop down

to the ground, and run over to the right; stop just below the monkey icon

at the top of the screen. Jump up, and use your bubble gum. After you

get the monkey icon, float to the right, and you will go off screen into

a secret room with a heart, the 'K' icon, another bubble gum, an extra life,

and some monkey icons. Get the 'K', and monkey icons with your current

bubble gum. Last grab the bubble gum here, run over to the Check Point Sign,

and jump up to teleported back. Now work your way to the right jumping over

the monkey on the hill. Then jump over the pond. You will see a monkey on

a branch. Jump up, and use your bubble gum to float to the top of that tree

where you will find the 'E' icon. Jump to the right for another monkey.

Go down the hill for another springboard trap, and monkey. Get the monkey

icons in the branches, and go up the hill for a Check Point Sign. Jump over

the pond for another monkey. Go into the branches for some more monkey icons.

Go right for another monkey. Jump up for a monkey and a pea. There are

monkey icons in the branches again. Go up the hill to the right for another

monkey. Jump over the pond to the right. Use the branch stub to swing up

to the branch with the last of the monkey icons. Go to the right for the

Exit Level Sign.

RIVER 3

Go to the right up the hill, and take care of the monkey. Then jump over

the pond to take care of the next monkey. I hope you remember that water

has fish jumping out of it. Use the branch stub to swing over to the branch.

Jump for the next branch with a monkey, a heart, and some monkey icons.

Jump to the right for a branch stub. Swing high to get some bubble gum.

Jump back to the left, and stand to the left side of the tree. Jump up,

and then use your bubble gum. Float up to get the 'C' icon. Now go to

the right and float up to get the heart. You can take care of the monkey

or float over him. Go to the right for a Check Point Sign. Jump into the

branches, and then use the branch stub to swing to the right. Land on the

ground, and then take care of the Red Ape. Go back to the left for one

monkey icon on a little island. Go to the right, and climb a vine for a

branch with a monkey, and some monkey icons. The 'U' icon is just a little

above that monkey. Jump on his head to propel you high enough to get it.

Jump to the right along the branch stubs for some monkey icons. Drop to

the ground where the bushes are for a monkey icon hidden there. Take

care of the giant red ape. Keep going to the right for a monkey, and some

large rocks. Behind the large rocks is the 'K' icon. Go up the hill, and

then down it. At the bottom of the hill is a giant red ape. Go into the

branches for some monkey icons, and a heart. Jump to the right for another

branch, and then a branch stub. Use the branch stub, swing to the right to

land on a branch with bubble gum. Use the bubble gum, and float to the far

right side of that tree for the 'E' icon. Drop to the ground for a monkey.

Swing after the pond to land on a branch. A branch to the right has a monkey

on it, and a giant red ape on the ground. Jump across the branches, and

finally to the ground for a Check Point Sign. Jump up into the branches.

Swing across the branch stubs to get some monkey icons, a heart, and to

the top of the cliff. Slide down the slope to take out three monkeys.

Jump up into the branches, and be careful of the flying fish. The fourth

branch has a monkey on it. Jump over to the right for an island, and then

get on the branch for a monkey. Jump to the next branch for a heart, and then

drop down to the ground in the middle of the tree for an extra life hidden

behind some bushes. Go into the branch on the right hand side of the tree

for a monkey. Jump over to the ground to the right to see a giant red ape

run off with the Ancient Crock of Hookie Balookie into a cave. Enjoy

the wonderful cut scenes that explain more of the story.

CAVES 1

Immediately go to the left for the 'C' icon hidden behind some rocks. Go

to the right to see a moving platform. Jump up to the higher platform(or

at least to hang from it). Drop down to get the monkey icons, and then

jump back up onto that platform. Use the face(the same as a branch stub)

to swing to the right, on a rotating platform. Jump quickly off the rotating

platform to the right. You will land on a platform with a giant red ape.

You have to act fast, or throw your lasso before you land in order to

avoid getting hit. A giant red ape is also on the ground. Go to the right,

but watch out for the bat. You can jump on the bat to dispose of him. Go

to the right across the moving platform. Go to the right for a giant red

ape on a platform. Swing to the right for another giant red ape. Be

careful of the stone traps that drop down. Note: You can jump on top of a

stone trap. Go to the right for a Check Point Sign. Take care of the

giant red ape on the platform, and then jump back to the left for a heart,

and some monkey icons. Jump to the rotating platform, and then to the

higher platform for some monkey icons. Jump right for a giant red ape on

a hill. Stand at the top of the hill, and press down, and the Space Bar.

You will enter a secret room with some monkey icons, an extra life, a heart,

and the 'U' icon. Go to the Check Point Sign to exit the secret room.

Now from that hill, jump up to the platform, and swing across the faces

for some monkey icons, and a heart. Drop straight to the ground. Swinging

to the right, and dropping will only land you in a pit. Go across the

moving platform to get to the right. Take care of the giant red ape.

Use the face to swing to the right to get to a higher platform with a

tuba on it. Use the rotating platform to get to a higher platform to the

right. Drop to the ground, and then avoid the spring board trap hidden

behind some large rocks. To the right of the spring board trap is the

'K' icon, and a Check Point Sign. Go to the right past three stone traps.

Next avoid the spring board trap. Just past the spring board trap is the

'E' icon. To the right of that is a giant red ape. To the right, jump

up on the platform, and use the faces to swing to the right. You will

land on a platform with a stone trap beneath you. A bat will immediately

come after you. Drop to the ground, and go to the right for a moving

platform. Go up a hill for a stone trap at the top, and on the other side

of the hill is a giant red ape. Jump up on the platform, and then jump

across the two rotating platforms. Jump over the spring board trap. Once

you land be prepared to take care of a bat, and a giant red ape. Jump

across the next pit via the rotating platform, and then when you get across

take care of the giant red ape. Use the face to get some monkey icons.

Land to take care of another giant red ape. Go across the moving platform,

and then jump across the little pit. Take care of the giant red ape. and

then get some monkey icons, and a heart on the platforms. On the second

platform a bat comes after you. Jump to the hill for a giant red ape.

Go down the hill for the last monkey icons, and the Exit Level Sign.

CAVES 2

Be careful where you slide down slopes in this level, sliding down many

slopes in this level will lead to your death. Go to the right for a

platform with some monkey icons. Go right from there up a hill. Go down

the hill for a giant red ape. To your right is a pit, and over the pit

is a stone trap with a heart above it. Stand close to the edge, and wait

for the stone trap to drop. When it does, jump on top of it, and then let

it return to the top to access the heart. Jump to the other side where a

giant red ape awaits you. A bat will also come out after you, and there

is a monkey icon behind the rocks on the ground. Get the monkey icons on

the platform, and then drop down to the ground for the 'C' icon which is

behind some rocks. Jump back onto the platform, and then use it to jump

to the higher platform. Be careful this platform has a stone trap above

the middle of it. Jump to the platform to the right, then the rotating

platform, and then another platform. There will be two giant red apes

below you. Swing off the face to a rotating platform, and then a short

jump to another face. Swing from this face to get all the monkey icons

here, and the 'U' icon. Drop to the ground for a Check Point Sign. Go

up and down the hill for a red ape. Jump up to a platform, and then two

rotating platforms, and finally a platform for some monkey icons. Drop

to the ground to take care of a giant red ape. Go up a hill, and then

jump to the face to swing to the other side(careful a bat will come out

after you once you reach the other side). Continue on to the right. Use

a stone trap to get to the high platform. Then drop down to the island

for one monkey icon. Now use the second stone trap to get to the high

platform again. Then drop down to the right for a Check Point Sign. A

giant red ape is at the top of the hill to your right. Go down the hill,

and then jump the pit. On the right side behind some rocks is the 'K'

icon. A giant red ape is to the right a little further on. Jump on the

platforms for some more monkey icons. Then jump on the rotating platform,

and another platform to pass over the moving platform on the ground. To

the right of the moving platform is a giant red ape. Jump over the pit

to the right with a stone trap. On the ground is a giant red ape, and a

monkey icon. Stand just to the right of the stone trap near the edge to

make it come down. Quickly jump to the platform to the right, and then

quickly jump back to the left on top of the stone trap. Above the stone

trap is a heart, some monkey icons, and the 'E' icon. Go to the right now,

jump on the platforms for some monkey icons. Use the rotating platforms

to pass over the moving platform. To your right is a giant red ape, and a

monkey icon hidden behind some rocks. Jump over the pit to the right.

Jump on the platforms for the last of the monkey icons, and a giant red ape.

Jump down to the ground for the Exit Level Sign.

CAVES 3

Go to the right up the hill for a giant red ape to take care of. Jump to

the face, and swing to the platform. Drop to the ground, and go across the

moveable platform. Use the stone trap to get to the higher platform. Once

you are up there take care of the bat that comes after you. Jump to the

face, and swing for some monkey icons. Drop to the ground for a giant red

ape. Go up the hill, and watch out for a stone trap. Go down the hill, and

jump over the springboard trap. To the right of the springboard trap hidden

by some rocks is the 'C' icon. Continue on to the right for a giant red ape.

Use the rotating platforms to get some monkey icons. Go up the hill, and jump

over the little pit. Once you reach the other side be aware of a bat that will

immediately come after you. Jump, or fall down to the moving platform. Jump

to the other side, and then jump up to the platform. Take care of the giant

red ape who awaits you. Jump over the springboard trap, and watch out for the

bat. Drop down at the ledge for the 'U' icon, hidden behind some rocks. Jump

on the platform for a heart, and some monkey icons. Jump to the right for a

face to swing from. Swing to the platform with a giant red ape on it. Jump

up to the face, and swing for some monkey icons. Drop down to the ground

for a Check Point Sign, and a giant red ape. Use the moving platform to get

to the right. Use the stone trap to get to the higher platform. Jump to

the right over the moving platform. Climb the hill, and jump up to the

platform with a giant red ape. Drop down to the middle island. From this

middle island jump to the left for a monkey icon. Jump back to the middle

island, and this time jump to the right island for the 'K' icon, and a monkey

icon hidden behind some rocks. Use the springboard trap to get back to the

higher platform(note you can also jump back up to the higher platform from the

left most island). From here jump to the right for a heart, and land on the

ground. Be careful, because a bat comes out after you. Jump across the

moving platforms to get to some ground on the right. Once you get across a

bat will come out after you. Jump to the platform, and then down to the

ground for a giant red ape. Go up the rotating platforms for two monkey

icons. Drop down to the Check Point Sign. Go up the hill, and get the stone

trap to drop down, and then jump on top of the stone trap. Once the stone

trap is at the top of the screen, jump up for the 'E' icon. Drop back down,

and go down the other side of the hill for a giant red ape. Jump up to the

platform for a heart, and some more monkey icons. Jump up to the higher

platform, and then to the right across two rotating platforms. Jump to the

ground for an extra life, a giant red ape, and the last monkey icon(hidden

behind some rocks). Go up the hill, and then jump to the right to land on

a springboard trap. It will give you some serious air, as it launches you

out of the level, and it will then show you being launched on the map to the

next area. Enjoy the cut scene, and learn about Jungle Jimmy.

RUINS 1

Go to the right, and on the ground between the first two columns is

the 'C' icon. Go up the hill, and jump over the pit. Take care of

the giant red ape you come across. Jump up the platforms, then the

moving platform to get to the right. Take care of the giant red ape

at the top of the small stone pyramid. Stand on the top of the small

stone pyramid, and drop down to the ground. You will find a monkey

icon, and the 'U' icon. Go to the right, and swing from the wood post

to get over the brambles. Take care of the giant red ape above the

stones(in an upside down U formation). Stand on top of those stones, and

drop down to enter a secret room. The secret room has a heart, an extra

life, a tuba, more monkey icons, and the 'K' icon. Exit the secret room,

and then go to the right for a giant red ape to take care of. Jump

across the rotating platform. Go up the ladder for some monkey icons.

Go to the right for a Check Point Sign. Jump to the platform, then the

rotating platform, and then to the ground for a giant red ape. Go to

the right, and notice the bees. Get them to chase you, and use the

platforms to get to the wooden post, and swing around to kill the bees.

Now head back to where the bees where, and find the 'E' icon is hidden

behind some bushes. If you missed any of the monkey icons while going

across the platforms, and swinging on the wooden post, then go back for

them. Now head to the right, and jump across for a moving platform.

Now use the wooden post to swing from to get to the right. Take care

of the giant red ape that awaits you. Jump up, and over the stones, and

then drop down for the Check Point Sign. I hope you have enough extra

lives, because this next part can be tricky. Climb up the ladder, then

jump to the wooden post. Swing to the right, and then jump to the right

for a platform. Jump to the next wooden post, and then swing to the

next platform awaiting you. Take a long jump to the right to reach the

next wooden post which is far away(but on the lower part of the screen).

Swing to the right for the ground, and a red ape. Now go to the right

for three wooden posts in a row to jump to, and swing from. Once you

have the jumping while at the apex of your swing, you should be fine.

Land on the ground after the three wooden posts for the Exit Level Sign.

RUINS 2

Go to the right for a platform with some monkey icons on it. Use the

wooden post to get to the right, then take care of the giant red ape.

Get the monkey icons off of the platforms. Jump the pit for a giant red

ape on the other side. Get the monkey icons off the platform, and then

jump the pit for another giant red ape. Jump the brambles, and then use

the wooden post to swing to the right. Get on top of the upside down U

formation of stones. Drop down inside that formation of stones for the

'C' icon. Jump for the wooden post, and then swing jump to the second one.

Swing jump to the ground to the right. Jump over the stones for the

Check Point Sign. Go up the little hill for a giant red ape. Get the

monkey icons off the platforms. Use the wooden post to get over the pit.

You will most likely land on a giant red ape(if not dispose of him quickly).

Go past the four stone traps. Jump to the wooden post to get over the

brambles. Go up the hill, and watch out for the bees. Jump to the right.

Just past the ladder hidden by some bushes is the 'U' icon. Jump to

the right, and take care of the giant red ape. Jump up on the platform,

and then jump right over the pit. Climb the stone stairs and take care

of the giant red ape. Just past the stone stairs, and before the

Check Point Sign is the 'K' icon, and a monkey icon. Go right past the

Check Point Sign. Use the stone trap to get higher, and then jump to

the right over the pit. When you land take care of the giant red ape.

Jump to the wooden post for a heart, and a monkey icon. Swing jump to

the platform with monkey icons on it. Drop down to the ground to take

care of a giant red ape. Jump to the wooden post, and then swing jump

to the second wooden post. Swing jump to the third wooden post, and then

swing jump to the platform. Jump on the moving platform to get the 'E'

icon. Jump to the platform to the right for the last of the monkey icons.

Jump to the ground, and then go to the right for the Exit Level Sign.

RUINS 3(FINAL LEVEL)

Go to the left for the 'C' icon, and a monkey icon hidden behind some

bushes. Go to the right for a giant red ape. Jump across two rotating

platforms to get to an island of ground. Jump to the wooden post, and

then swing jump to the second wooden post. Swing jump from there to

a rotating platform. Jump to the right for an island with a giant red

ape on it. Jump to the platform to get over the pit. A giant red ape

will be awaiting you. Go up the hill for a stone trap. Jump to the

wooden post, and swing jump to the moving platform. Jump over to the

little island. Now jump to the wooden post, and swing jump from there

to get to a Check Point Sign. Jump on the stones, and on the first

part of the stones drop down inside them for the 'U' icon, and a monkey

icon hidden behind some bushes. Jump to the wooden post, then swing

jump to the second wooden post. From the second wooden post swing

jump to the ground. Be careful of the bees that will greet you when

you head to the right. Jump up, and across the platforms to get on

top of the giant stones(in an upside down U formation). Go to the

right for a giant red ape. Go up and down a hill for a Check Point

Sign. Go over the stone pyramid to get to a stone trap. Get the

extra life, and then jump the pit for a heart. Some bees will come

after you once you have jumped the pit. Jump across the platforms,

and then the rotating platform, and finally a platform. Drop down

to the ground for the 'K' icon hidden behind the bush. Jump back up

for a moving platform. The 'E' icon is just above the moving platform.

Go to the right, and take care of the giant red ape on the ground.

Go right for two wooden posts, and then a rotating platform. Jump

from the rotating platform to another wooden post. Swing jump from

that wooden post to a stable platform to the right. Grab the last

monkey icons, and then jump to the right to the ground to finally meet

King Jungle Jimmy. Enjoy the cut scene

THE RACE

After the cut scene with King Jungle Jimmy, he will relinquish the

Ancient Crock of Hookie Balookie only if you can best him in a race.

There are two outcomes to this. One you lose, and he will gloat. Your

game will end, but you will be allowed a continue where you can start

right back at the race. The other option is you beat him, and then

you get the ending cut scene, and then the credits roll. The biggest

key to this vertical race is to not fall down. Falling down costs you

greatly. If you can swing jump good, then you will have no problem

at all in this. It may take some practice. Overall though this level

is not that hard. I only used the wooden posts when there was no

other choice. Remember you can hang from platforms, and pull yourself

up. You can also jump while on the ladder up to a higher position on

the ladder. This is where King Jungle Jimmy really gets slowed down.

The computer makes him climb the ladder(which is way too slow). Once

you beat this level, congrats on beating the game.
