Despite the IMDB link, this movie is actually coming out.
I had kinda thought these were through with.
Thoughts?

Eh.
Voyage of the Dawn Treader is my favorite Narnia book, and I can see them really screwing it up. Plus the fact that they don't seem to have so much faith in this one since the budget is lower, they're not pushing it at Comic-Con and all of the scheduling delays that they have had.
I want it to be great, but it probably won't be.

Who knows, Star Wars Episode four (New Hope) was really low budget.
It was really good.

Lots of movies have low budgets and turn out good...but in this case it smells of cutting corners. I'm not going to completely judge the movie until I see it, and i do want the series to succeed as a whole so they can make the entire Chronicles, but I'm just not that excited for it.

Well, there is one positive thing that must be noted: the director has been replaced. That means that we don't have to deal with a guy whose only other directorial experience... are the Shrek movies. O_o
The new guy did Amazing Grace, which I'm pretty fond of, but he's also made some extremely cheap movies in the past. So... we'll see.
I don't exactly expect a lot from it, considering how bad the last two were. :/

I actually didn't think the first wasn't all that bad.
Also. I liked Shrek.

I think Andrew Adamson did a good enough job, and the only good parts about Shrek 3 were the sequences that he directed. My qualms about the first two movies are not with him, for the most part.
I thought Amazing Grace was boring, but I'm not going to hold that against Michael Apted. I have confidence in his directing, just not enough faith in the project as a whole.

I don't care. I was apathetic after the butchery done to the first, and the outright vomit of a story number II presented sucked all care from me.
On the plus side, I love the first Shrek. >_>

Oh, I didn't mean to deface Shrek. I quite enjoy Shrek. But to go from a career steeped in animation and then to jump into live-action with one of the biggest projects around? It's... a little crazy. O_o

Can't wait!!!
The first two were awesome. Looking forward to it, and glad they are continuing the series.
