Insurgency: Sandstorm’s New “Operation: Clear Sight” Update Out Now

New free optics and new premium cosmetics are here in Update 1.20 for PC, PlayStation & Xbox

PARIS – Feb. 24, 2026 – Focus Entertainment and New World Interactive are thrilled to announce the launch today of a new content update for Insurgency: Sandstorm with Update 1.20: “Operation: Clear Sight.” Available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, the Microsoft Store, and Epic Games Store, this Operation brings new free sights, challenge updates and additional patches. Newly added premium cosmetic DLC sets are also available in the 4-Year Anniversary Edition, the Year 4 Pass, or for individual purchase.



FREE CONTENT INCLUDED IN OPERATION: CLEAR SIGHT

With Operation: Clear Sight, two new free sights are available: the Romero T8 for Security and the PKO-6 for Insurgents.

The Jackal has resurfaced in the city, leading a surge of insurgent forces toward a high-value intelligence target. With time running out, GRS operators have been dispatched with advanced gear to shut down the assault and take him out before he slips away.
