A Fighter’s Nova: Mindara Revealed
Independent game studio BadRez Games has officially unveiled A Fighter’s Nova: Mindara, a narrative-driven JRPG that fuses rich storytelling and exploration with the discipline and intensity of a true fighting game.
Revealed during the Convergence Showcase, the game debuts with its irst reveal trailer and a live Steam page, giving players their first look at this ambitious JRPG × fighting game hybrid.
About the Game
A Fighter’s Nova: Mindara is a narrative JRPG that blends classic exploration, character progression, and storytelling with fast-paced, skill-based fighting game combat.
Players follow Maya, a teenage martial artist, and Mindara, a mysterious wolf-man driven by revenge, as they journey toward a legendary tournament hidden within a mystical city. Along the way, they meet allies with their own stories, form powerful bonds, and grow stronger through traditional JRPG systems.
When combat begins, the game fully shifts into intense fighting game encounters, where timing, execution, and mastery matter as much as character growth. In Mindara, the JRPG gives meaning to every fight and the fights bring the story to life.
