Unveils Behind-the-Scenes Documentary on Den of Wolves Development

Stockholm, 21st October 2025- Swedish games studio 10 Chambers, founded in 2015, has released a new documentary short exploring the creative vision behind their upcoming sci-fi heist game, Den of Wolves.

Created in partnership with the team at PC Gamer, featuring conversations with the team, showcasing how they are leveraging their experience from GTFO, Payday: The Heist, and PAYDAY 2 to craft an action-packed, co-op experience set in Midway City, where players operate as criminals-for-hire in a corporate dystopia.

The documentary showcases the studio's approach to world-building, including the creation of over 300 fictional brands, the design of Midway City's massive megastructures inspired by brutalist architecture and Kowloon Walled City.

“We’re putting in a lot of time to make Midway as believable a city as possible. Even though it’s not an open-world game, having the backdrop and recognising every building and brand you see has a purpose, gives the gameplay more value”, says Oscar J-T Holm, co-founder of 10 Chambers.

Founded back in 2015, this year marks the 10-year anniversary of 10 Chambers. To celebrate they’ve launched a website with a timeline outlining the history of the studio including old photographs and untold stories. The website can be found at www.10chambers.com/10years.

“Personally, I think it’s pretty lame of corporations to believe anyone would be interested in them having their anniversary, however long they’ve been alive. But we started looking back and found some fun pictures and stories, so we decided to make it publicly available. There are some interesting stories there that have never been told before”, says Robin Björkell, Communications Director at 10 Chambers.

The team is also currently running a 100 hour stream-a-thon in which the GTFO developers, together with their community, will try to complete the game, in support of suicide prevention charity, International Association for Suicide Prevention, an issue which has sadly touched the lives of many of the 10 Chambers team.

Den of Wolves is available to wishlist on Steam.
