The highly antiquated social hangout game dropped the first Steam demo last Friday, and it quickly went viral over the weekend! With over 120,000 players, 45k new wishlists and over 2,000 positive user reviews, Sledding Game climbed to the top of the free trending game charts on Steam!
Sledding Game is developed by solo dev Max who is documenting the development of his silly game on social media daily, gathering a cult following, +275,000 wishlists and millions of views each week.
About the game
Sledding Game is a multiplayer snowsports hangout game with proximity chat. Go sledding, relax and see what else there is to do. There’s also ragdoll physics so the crashes look terrible really really good.
Use proximity voice chat to talk to friends, or express your feelings by repeatedly crashing into each other. Race on the slopes, stack up points with gnarly tricks, compete in minigames, snowball fights, darts – or just chill out with a cup of hot coca. There’s also customizable characters and cool cosmetics.
Join old friends in private lobbies or go to a public lobby and make new ones. With up to fifty(??) players per lobby, things can get extremely chaotic. Oh and if you go too far while exploring a yeti will appear and kick you back onto the map. Consider yourself warned.
