Techland Shares Kyle Crane’s Story Recap and Exclusive Gifts for Players
Wrocław, Poland – Sept. 16, 2025 – Over 1 million players have already secured their copy of Dying Light: The Beast, with many still to come. That’s why we created the official The Story So Far video. Perfect for new players who have never experienced Dying Light before, it introduces them to Kyle Crane’s story, while also serving as a recap for those who need a refresher on his journey.
Yesterday, we revealed an exclusive thank you gift for all players who join us before the launch of Dying Light: The Beast - the Apex Car Skin. But there’s even more! On top of that and the previously announced Hero of Harran Bundle, players will also receive the Legacy Outfit, inspired by Kyle Crane’s iconic look from the original Dying Light.
The Hero of Harran Bundle will be available at launch, the APEX Car Skin from September 20th, and the Legacy Outfit will unlock shortly after the game goes live.
About Dying Light: The Beast
You are Kyle Crane. After being captured by the Baron and enduring his painful experiments for years, you escape. Left on the edge of humanity with both human and zombie DNA, you struggle to control your inner beast and the conflict that comes with it. But you’ll need to, if you want to get your revenge on the man who did this to you.
A unique blend of open world and action survival horror, Dying Light: The Beast is set in the beautiful, yet dangerous valley of Castor Woods that’s now overrun with zombies rather than tourists. To take your former captor down, you’ll need to form fragile alliances, as well as utilize all the combat and traversal options in your arsenal.
But be careful: out here, each step is a fight for survival, especially once the sun sets and the tension heightens as the true horrors come out at night!
Dying Light: The Beast will be released on September 18, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-order it now and get the Hero of Harran Bundle, APEX Car Skin and Kyle Crane Legacy Skin as exclusive gifts.
