Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate Kaho Shibuya DLC Release Date Confirmed!

Rocket Panda Games confirms the Kaho Shibuya DLC launch date across all platforms.

Los Angeles, California - August 25, 2025 - Rocket Panda Games announces the official release date for the upcoming Kaho Shibuya DLC for Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate (PBBGU). The DLC content will launch on September 4th, 2025 for PC and consoles.

Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate | KAHO DLC Announcement

The DLC stars Kaho Shibuya, a beloved Japanese pop culture figure and cosplayer, as a brand-new playable character. As a magical girl armed with bread-based powers, Kaho brings a delightful and deadly twist to the side-scrolling action

The Kaho DLC includes:

One new playable character Kaho Shibuya, a magical girl with the powers of cuteness and bread, available to use on Co-op and Battlegrounds Mode. Shibuya herself voices the character in both English and Japanese.
Four new enemy mob characters to battle through on the new stage.
A brand-new stage set in a fictional “LA”, dressed up for anime convention season available on Co-op Mode.
New special in-game stage BGM featuring the Phantom Breakers’ new single, WiSH with Shibuya appearing as a guest vocalist.
In-stage Collaboration Cameos with LA local food truck, Okamoto Kitchen and 3D latte art shop from Japan, Latte Pocket.

The Phantom Breakers’ new single that will be featured as the stage BGM in the DLC, “WiSH” feat. Kaho Shibuya is currently available on all major music streaming platforms.
