Voxel MMO “Trove” Tests Players’ Valor in its Elysian Initiation Event

Don your armor, take up your broadsword, and prepare thee for trials most tumultuous! Today, MMORPG publisher gamigo launched the latest monthly event for voxel MMO Trove: Elysian Initiation. From August 5 - August 19, Trovians will undergo the Trials of the Elysian Knights, demonstrating their strength and the values of the order in the hopes of becoming a knight themselves.

During this event, players will meet with Tauri in the hub’s Events area to begin the questline that leads to their initiation into the order. Starting by solidifying their qualifications through crafting an Elysian Emblem, Trovians will then set out to conquer each trial through feats of strength of both mind and body, and prove their valor.

Clearing delves, solving riddles, and taking on foe-filled dungeons are just some of the challenges that await would-be knights as they progress through their quest for initiation. As they triumph over each trial, players will certainly build up a stock of Sol Sigils, the main item needed to craft Elysian Emblems. These Emblems are the main way players can get rewards during this event, including four new pets: the regal Oren Lionheart, the graceful Seph Swansong, the sage Hoot the Wisened, and the hardy Woodrow, Beaver of Routine.

Key Gameplay Features of Trove:

Cubular Classes: Cube-kind can be anything they want! Master classes include Knight, Gunslinger, Ice Sage, Dracolyte, and Pirate-with-a-parrot, with awesome abilities ranging from impressive ninja techniques to delicious yet deadly ice cream crushes

Infinite and Fully Destructible: Roam through colorful, voxel-based realms, including untamed wilds and worlds made of candy, before using skills to destroy them, one beautiful block at a time

Imagine It, Build It: Add to the land with all manner of building and crafting options, including a Cornerstone (mobile base), huge Club Worlds, dungeons, dragons, costumes, and even swords made out of bacon

Lots of Loot: Loot to the heart’s content with all manner of shimmering treasures and mighty rewards to unlock and uncover throughout the land, such as special gear, ships, decorations, and collectibles

Trove is available free to play on Windows PC via Steam and the official website, PlayStation 4, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
