Calling All Platform Managers! Drill Core Receives New Orders in “Oversight Depts” Update

Drill Core, the platform miner simulator from developer Hungry Couch and publisher tinyBuild, expands its mining workforce in the new “Oversight Depts” early access update, available on Steam for Windows PC today.

Drill Core Inc.’s Board of Directors has broadened the company’s capabilities with the creation of the new Oversight Departments!

Choose a department with specialized upgrades and skills benefitting the mining process, and reward skilled managers with achievements for their work.
 
Select from the six new departments, take advantage of their distinct upgrades, and explore varying mining strategies thanks to this incredible restructuring opportunity.

Quell the mayhem in the Department of Chaotic Optimization, or count the blessings and accidentally emerge prosperous via the Department of Accidental Safety.

The “Oversight Depts” update also introduces mineshaft expansions 3-4 times wider, expanded drilling depth, and new block types found in both the Cave and Frost Biomes.

Protect excavators from six new alien species, like the speedy Raptor or deadly Slinger. Fortify mines with 15 building types including the enemy-electrocuting Tesla Watchtower, or mow them with six newly-implemented turret types.

Drill Core and the “Oversight Depts” update are available now for Windows PC via Steam Early Access for USD $19.99.
