I found this article a while back and stumbled upon it again today so I decided to share it. This is the reason I don't use Chessex or GW dice anymore. I recently saw a set of Chessex dice and even though I knew better, I bought it and used it, and got my butt kicked in. I've since gone back to my "good" dice and have fared much better.

I have a set of regular square dice like you'd get in a game of Monopoly (only a lot more of them!) which I use most of the time. I also bought 12 casino dice but I don't use them quite as often because they're huge and hard to keep from knocking over my minis with.

That's good to know. I was looking at Chessex dice, too.

So, I came across some Q Workshop dice, and while they are a little pricey, I really like how they look. A lot.
Do you know how they hold up? The reviews seem to be positive.

With relatively sharp edges and corners, and with the designs on each face appearing to be about the same, I'd imagine they're pretty good about rolling evenly. The article seemed to suggest the main factor being the rounded corners coupled with the recessed pips being uneven.

I guess the only thing we can't know for sure is that the dice are solid plastic with little or no air bubbles. At that price, that shouldn't be much of a concern.
