That Firefox has an LCARS theme.

AWW YEAH.

I'm also considering starting an 'I just discovered' thread.

But mostly hyped over my Trekkin' theme. I feel so...futuristic.

Is it wrong that when I saw this thread title, I half expected the rest of the sentence to read: "...that I have a belly button!"

My dad definitely used to have an LCARS theme for his Windows/start-up. Sound and everything.

As awesome as that is (and it's reallllllly awesome. O_O) it's less a theme and more a program.

It also takes up a lot of system resources I don't have on this computer. XD

Well it can act as a full replacement for the standard Windows Shell, you just have to know how to manipulate Windows to use it. Or, you know, select the option from the menu of the program. :P

That looks so cool! I would totally use it. But, idk how to do it. What do I have to do to get it set up? Not much help on their website? Is it "undoable"?

I might have it set up wrong, but all I had to do was download it and install it. It runs from the start menu. There's also a patch you need to get, but it's listed under the downloads.

Also, the program is more fully-featured if you get it from here. Scroll down to 3-31-12 and download Binaries only.

Has working voice commands, a help feature, less bugs, etc. It's what I use.

I'm still confused. Deep, is what you mentioned a program? Shell? Theme?
If I don't like it, can I go back to what I had before?
Thx

It's a shell. It can run on top of or in the place of the standard Windows shell, Explorer. The shell has a Deactivate feature which (If you launched it from Explorer and not on Startup) will shut down the shell. If you wanted to try it out, download it and run it. The program can be quit using deactivate. Should you decide to use it as a replacement for Explorer, you will need to set an option under settings to load LCARSx32 at Windows login. The same setting allows for you to revert to the traditional Explorer at startup.

It's easy to install and uninstall, you just gotta dig around the settings dialog.
