Sort of. I haven't seen all the re-done endings but I have seen the new "Synthesis" ending from watching my son play, and I liked the additional content but it doesn't seem to justify all the hype that went into it, and I doubt it will satisfy many of the people who were clamoring for it.
I haven't re-played the end to see how it will be different in my game yet, so please go easy on the spoilers.
What say you?

Better, at least in my opinion. I feel closure, and I'm ready to move on to whatever BioWare has in store for me next

"Meh."
I was totally cool with the original endings. The new endings just seemed trite and completely unneccessary. Stinkin' whiny gamers are the real problem here.

I have some pretty detailed thoughts on this...
I actually started a thread on this sort of topic (it's basically dealing with Mass Effect, but I wanted it to encompass other games as well, so I named it something else) just a little down the list...

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Yeah I had some thoughts on that one too.
I actually haven't beaten ME3 again yet with the updated ending but I watched my son play it. (He chose differently at the end than I did so while I don't expect to see anything massively different, the nuances may be interesting.) He actually made the effort to play a bunch of multiplayer to get his overall readiness up past the threshold to choose the Synthesis ending. I didn't and went Destroy.

I would have gotten this game, but would never have excused Bioware for the lack of effort that is seen in this game. As someone once said, if you were color blind, you got the same ending with the old ones. I refuse to excuse them for any of this, and it isn't just about ME3 either. Their decisions in TOR only confirms what I've been thinking all along.
