Six Feet Under.
Wow. This show... easily some of the best acting I've ever experienced. And the show is so addicting. Just don't want to stop... watching.

I need to watch that one. I've heard it's one of HBO's best shows.Nix wrote:Six Feet Under.

A vegan atheist walks into a bar. Bartender says "Hey, are you a vegan atheist? Just kidding, you've mentioned it like eight times already."

I'd say it is, yeah. I'm only in the first season (about done with it) and it's pretty amazing.Bruce_Campbell wrote:I need to watch that one. I've heard it's one of HBO's best shows.Nix wrote:Six Feet Under.

FYI, I believe Amazon still has a sale going on for $18.99 a season.

A couple of episodes of Pushing Daisies. I could do without the hokey CGI segues, but the rest of the show is so much fun it's hard to care. The episode scripts have to be some of the cleverest I've ever heard, and even though I started watching in the middle of the second season, it still was able to suck me in.
It wouldn't be my favorite show, but I still enjoyed it.

Six Feet Under. Show continues to awe me with it's writing and superb characters. It's... really something special.
Do know though that it's got some heavy language and sexual content including gay crap... not to mention some pretty graphic (bloody) scenes. (the show is based on death, and some of the dead peepz die kinda... messy) Because of that stuff I can't recommend it in good conscience, unless you're prepared for it.
Fantastic writing/character development makes it awesome, though.

Like most crime shows, it's based on violence, sex, and "HAI GIZE IM 4 SRS HERE" storyline moments. I enjoy crime shows, but I don't really enjoy all the violence. In this case, a man had an exploding cigar with too much oomph. Nasty. And really, pretty *almost about to change*.
The funny thing? In XIII, I put crossbow bolts into people's eyes with nary a problem. I have no explanation.
Mindless entertainment, but still entertainment. At least the 2nd one was sad and almost deep.

well, it was yesterday: Top Gear! a couple of months ago my dad changed the cable system so i now have the BBC and had heard lots of good stuff about this show and lemme tell you it deserves it!!! i´m not a car person (or "petrolhead" as they say in the show) but i am totally hooked by these guys! each of the self imposed trials are fun, farfetched and clever and it´s beautifullly done... it shows that they have a HUGE production budget!
