I've gotten a lot lately, but here's my most recent acquisition.
Wasting Light---Foo Fighters.
It was about $13...and worth every penny. Because not only is the album all kinds of awesome, but the first run or so have pieces of the original master tape. And I got one.
Sigh No More - Mumford & Sons The Moon & Antarctica - Modest Mouse The Second Stage Turbine Blade - Coheed and Cambria In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 - Coheed and Cambria
Phe, you reminded me to get some more Coheed. Thanks, my man.
Mutter---Rammstein Reise, Reise---Rammstein April Rain---Delain Train of Thought---Dream Theater Repo! The Genetic Opera (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Deluxe Edition---Repo! The Genetic Opera Cast.
Revenge of the O.C. Supertones <--Um...The O.C. Supertones.
Until my Heart Caves In <--Audio Adrenaline (*Gasp* I never thought I'd be able to get a physical copy of this CD. I am hyped)
The Best of Whitecross<--Whitecross
Redeemer<--Norma Jean
All for $.69 cents apiece. XD I'm actually really hyped over that jank. I love the O.C.S, and Audio Adrenaline, and I've wanted to hear Norma Jean. Seemed like a good opportunity. Whitecross is a ye olde hair metal type band, similar to Stryper. Gotta' go back to the roots.
And then I came home and Downlourded:
Galactic Conquest<--Eleventyseven.
It's...so funny. But also good. Like someone threw Relient K and Joy Electric into a blender.
This could very well be the best (secular or Christian) metalcore album ever written. I've always liked these guys, and I expected Leveler to be good, but holy crap, it totally exceeded all my expectations. I've literally had it on repeat ever since I bought it last week, which I almost never do with any album. Also, Cutting the Ties has some of the best, most encouraging lyrics I've ever heard in a metal song.
I could go on and on raving about this album, but I'll cut it short and just say that anyone with even a slight interest in metal should go buy this now.
