I can't remember if I discussed this with you or not...but what are your thoughts on Nine Inch Nails, and by extension, Trent Reznor?

Love Nine Inch Nails. Though lately I find some tracks to be overly angsty in their lyrics, they're more or less all musically deep, dark and captivating... Trent Reznor seems to have his own distinct melodic style, which I love. It's hard to say what exactly defines his style, it's probably something to do with the way his melodies progress, or his harmonies, or a combination of the two... Recently I heard an instrumental How to Destroy Angels track and instantly recognized Reznor's musical footprint, so it's definitely tangible anyway.
Also, Reznor shares his name with a Super Mario World boss. So there's that.
