The 11th is my favorite! I started watching the show right at the end of Tennant's run. I liked Tennant but Smith was just Awesome! Here's my list of the Doctor's by how much I like them.

Tom Baker played the best Doctor but I once I found out what a horrible egocentric person he was in real life I could never really enjoy his performance any more. I'd have to say Peter Davidson was my personal favorite after Tom Baker.
Never really sure why people like Christopher Eccleston. His character seemed to hate humans (always calling them stupid apes) and was just mean most of the time. He was the actor that brought the series back but his Doctor has always seemed to be one of the worst I thought. Matt Smith brought a happiness back to the doctor that was missing a lot of the time. I'm not sure how much the War Doctor played into that but it was nice to see.
Professor Riversong is my favorite companion from the new series. I always loved K-9 and Sarah Jane Smith from the old but Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart is my all time favorite.

I quite agree. Smith did a fantastic job with the role of the Doctor, even with his age largely bucking the trend. I think he probably has been the best of the relaunch so far as well (keep in mind I haven't seen any Capaldi episodes yet... my wife and I watch them on Netflix, and they don't have the newer ones uploaded yet).Wolfeman wrote: Matt Smith brought a happiness back to the doctor that was missing a lot of the time.

I'd have to say Capaldi would be my favorite. Honest, sarcastic, heroic, but with just a tiny streak of apparent malice. And did I mention the "Attack Eyebrows"?

My favorite is the 11th Doctor
