Only if you take it as such. I don't see how I could find it insulting...

Because it means I value your thoughts at a penny. Which is currently worth more as scrap than as money (in the US, at any rate).

I miss those times. Not the outhouses and diseases that came with them, but the simpler part.

If you mean the game, I don't play it. If you mean a real warhammer... all I have to say is that I remember some tv character saying he got kicked out of an rpg club for using a real warhammer, and trying to remember who it was is driving me crazy.
