Guillermo is amazing, and so was Hellboy II.
I just watched Step Brothers after purchasing it on DVD. That movie...is so messed up and rude, yet so incredibly funny. Not to mention endlessly quotable.
B+
What was the last movie you watched?

Despite a few holes in logic and even bigger holes in the accuracy, this was an amusing way to spend a few hours.

I really liked this movie, it wasn't quite up to the first one, but it was better than the second.

Very enlightening documentary, I believe this should be required viewing for all high school seniors.

The Marine.
It's funny how the movie is rated PG-13, because I grew out of this stuff when I was like, eight.

Step Brothers is amazing. Great movie.
The only line I can quote isn't repeatable.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

I don't think any of the lines are repeatable.
By the way, I recommend the unrated version. It isn't more explicit per se, but it has a handful of extra snippets that are really funny, for example John C. Reilly bragging how he "wrestled a giraffe to the ground with my bare hands."
I also just finished Night of the Hunter. Amazing movie, I loved it. I can see how the Coens might have been inspired slightly by it.

Hilariously bad, or actually funny? Because for me it was mostly the former. I mean, that whole bit about rock candy, what was that all about? And the main villain actually talking about a cable package? Made me cringe.Heartless_Gentleman wrote:That movie is hilarious.

Night of the Hunter... isn't that the old movie with the guy who has "Love" and "Hate" tattooed on his hands? Good stuff.Heartless_Gentleman wrote:I don't think any of the lines are repeatable.

Hellboy II
Uhm. Yeah. I loved the first Hellboy. On the whole, I enjoyed this one. Still... the first... hour-ish... felt like two separate stories building that somehow tied together. I liked both stories... and they actually did come together alright... but it's hard to call the movie great.
Imaginative. Definitely.
Then again... enter Del Toro.

I cannot believe I actually paid money to inflict this film upon my eyes. It wasn't my choice, but still...I sit here in awe.

I did enjoy this, despite the bad reviews it got. It's definitly a different kind of superhero movie. Pretty interesting if you ask me. It did have quite a bit of language though, and some of the elements of the story weren't executed and presented very well.
I'd still give it a B+ though.

Man I didn't think I would like since I am not so much into older films...but I honestly say I loved it! Now I am curious to see what the new one will bring...hopefully it does not butcher the original. I need to read the book as well.

Wasn't as bad as everyone said it was. The ending was kinda dumb though.
