Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl

A classic that will be watched for years to come. It was still enjoyable, though this was probably the tenth time I've seen it since first viewing it in theaters when I was 13. The years have gone, yet still I come back to this film for all occasions. It was fantastic, nonsensical fun once more.

definitely hard to wrap my head around the first time, but it was pretty well done, though confusing.

Citizen Kane

Still one of the best movies ever.

Woah!

Was not expecting a movie from 1979 to be THIS good!

A sci-fi masterpiece that should be enjoyed by all fans of the genre.

(I would not recommend it if you are scared by "Jump scenes")

Classic movies, for $200, Alex.

This actor starred in Rear Window and Vertigo, and spoke really funny like.

Who is Jimmy Stewart?

That is correct.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

I worship Jimmy Stewart. The guy was an actor ahead of his time.

Anyway.

Solaris. It started out totally awesome, faded into the mediocre, then finished with the lame. I did some research on the novel, and I'm sort of curious as to exactly what they were thinking when they made this. The themes of the book were awesome. The themes are sort of a part of the movie, but...romance? Do we have to make a depressing romance film? Geez.

Still, I have to praise the overall directing and the acting. Especially from Jeremy Davies, who was absolutely amazing.

10 Things I Hate About You. Although this movie has obviously gotten a lot more praise since Heath Ledger's death, but regardless of the hype, it's probably the best teen film I've seen. Not too crass, and quite clever at some points, with plenty of good one-liners. David Krumholtz is awesome. B+
