The Bourne Ultimatum is playing right now. Once again, I haven't paid nearly enough attention to appreciate it. Lame of me.

If I listed the movies I've watched in the past two weeks...there's quite a few. I'm sure I won't remember them all. Let's try anyway:

Penelope - A-
The Matrix - B-
Zoolander - B+
Half of X-Men 2 - B
Dan in Real Life - C+
The Bucket List - C+
I Am Legend - B
Enchanted - C
Half of I'm Not There - W
Prince Caspian - B+
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - C+
Half of Forrest Gump - A-

That's all I can remember. The 'W' grade stands for weird. Don't make me explain the other grades, or how Zoolander got a higher grade than The Matrix. Just don't.

Can't believe I'd never heard of this, what with such an all-star cast. And the all-star was absolutely all-star. Kevin Bacon was just plain creepy. Robert DeNioro was amazing, Brad Pitt equally so...and Dustin Hoffman. I have respect for that man. What a performance.

National Treasure 2.

Pretty good. Not equal to the first, but very enjoyable.

A.

Because it was somewhat cheesy in parts, and it was totally unbelievable, rather than just inconceivable like the first.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Wow. I had no idea that I would enjoy an Indiana Jones movie so much. They packed in a ridiculous amount of fun with all the over-the-top, crazy violence and the constant witty banter and dialogue. I completely disagree with what people are saying about Shia. I think he was perfect for the role. The chemistry between him and Ford was fantastic.

Granted, the last eighth of the film was a little off once they finally found what they were looking for, but the rest of it made this ending easily forgivable.

I'm presently watching Live Free or Die Hard. Definitely one of my favorite (whether or not it's the best) straight-up action movies ever.

A Few Good Men

A powerful film about the importance of obedience versus morality. Tom Cruise was hilarious. Definitely going on my list of favorite military/war films.

One of my favorite movies of all time. An 80's comedy sci-fi (NOT a parody. The world is currently over-run with dumb parody movies so I thought I'd specify.) about a Ninja neurosurgeon/Rock star who saves the world and rock's hard. In this particular adventure he faces off against the Red Lectroids of planet 10, led by an insane "man" comparable to Earth's Hitler. If your over 14 and can find a copy I highly recommend it.

A. For some bad language and minor crudeness.

Evil Dead 2

I finally watched this movie. I saw that it was a freebie On Demand, so I decided to watch it.

It. Was. Stupid.

Then again, being a fan of Army of Darkness, I knew exactly what to expect.

Yesh, it was stupid, but it was ridiculously funny at the same time.

Makes me want to find a camera and try my hand at the purposely ridiculous style of filmmaking. XD

Also, I now fully know the source material for Showbread's "Dead by Dawn" (which, coincidentally, is about to get stuck in my head).

Wow, I had no idea anyone else had ever heard of this movie.. It's one of my favorite movies of all time. (I highly suggest the VHS version as opposed to the remastered DVD.)

I love that line. :D That was my favorite. Not saying their aren't better ones, but that's the one that comes to mind when I think of the movie. And unfortunately my VHS wore out, so the DVD was my only option. I still like it though, and hadn't noticed much of a difference.

Wow. Just...wow. The most amazing, powerful movie about drugs and the world it's created I've ever seen. It blew my mind.
