That was one of the most painful scenes in movie history. ><

Good, much better than the chamber of secrets.

B+

Prince Caspian

Bleh, I hated it.

Waaaay too much difference from the books.

C+

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Wow.

Indy rocks, and this movie is no exception!

There's your problem, then. ;)

Last three movies I've seen:

Punch-Drunk Love: Still loved it. I believe I gave the rating earlier, so I'll spare you.

The Departed: Again, loved it. This is my fourth or fifth time seeing it. And it's still amazing and powerful.

Indy 4: Because of some projector problems at the first showing I saw, I got two free passes (one for me and one for someone else)... so I went and saw it today again, with my dad. Still loved it.

;)

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

I'll tell you what I think of it when I figure out what I think of it.

It...pretty much sucked. Had some charm, but enough to get past such a lackluster plot. Disappointing to say the least.

You, my friend, are banned from reviewing movies. Epic fail. ;)

Prince Caspian.

I know people are bashing it because it deviates from the book, but think about it.
The plot from the book was slow, and the scene with Bacchus and the Maenads would, quite frankly, be creepy. I mean, a guy in a skin dancing with some scantily clad women?
I know what Lewis meant by it, but it wouldn't translate well to film.
Like Tom Bombadil.

Also, todays audience wouldn't make it through the movie. I mean look at the other Narnia movie. It was boring and stale.

So it was good. However, there was the whole Susan/Caspian thing. That was too far.

Rating: A- (It would have been an A except for the romance.)
I am not insane....I merely perceive the world differently.

Kudos: 15

Predictable... through and through. Then again, I didn't expect anything else. That being said, it was actually a lot funnier than I was anticipating.

Meh.

Before that, The Orphanage... creepy old movie.

for uber-creepy and mega-disturbing, yet shockingly void of gore, movie... see Prey.
