The Office Season 4. I only watched up to Money. This show rocks so much.
And yeah, Heroes is getting fairly lame now. I walked out of the room with the recent episode. Season 1 kept you guessing, Season 2 kinda threw everything together. Season 3 is just getting overly dramatic.

Buffy. I got Buffy season 5 for Christmas, so I made my mom watch the episode "The Body" with me. Even though she hasn't seen much of the show, she was surprised at just how well they captured the effect a sudden death of a loved one has on people. For me...it was brutal. I cried through nearly the entire thing. Yay for Christmas spirit.

Weeds on Showtime. I just got into it but it's a great show. It's a comedy/drama series but there is quite a bit of social commentary about all different aspects of American culture.

The Wire - finished season three, about 2/3rds of the way through Season 4.
I can't recommend this series enough, although I should warn about a lot of R rated content... it's definitely not for the kiddies.
