Thanks for the update! I'll be praying for you guys!!!
I also have been to Haiti for a mission trip for 3 days, I agree the chickens are fun to hang around, although my brother got bit by one When ever we went places the kids would hold our hands !
Sorry for the lack of posts, I have started school and not had much time to post.
Anyway, Haiti is about to be hit by Category 4 Hurricane Matthew, so prayers for the country of Haiti are appreciated.
School has been going well, but my Mom is having trouble teaching due to lack of prior experience and the fact that English is not the first language of many of the students. Learning Science is like learning another language, so some concepts are hard to understand. Please pray for success and understanding.
I will try to post more later this week, but our wifi will be knocked out due to the hurricane.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
Our area in the north of Haiti was barely hit at all, we only got some light rain. However, there was serious flooding in Southern Haiti. The flooding canceled the re-elections, which the country has been trying to do for over a year.
Please pray for victims in Southern Haiti and for the elections to happen smoothly and soon.

Now that I look at it, my recent posts have all been prayer requests and kinda negative events.
Anyway, here are some good things that have happened:
#1: I had Fall Break and 2 extra days off school!
#2: We successfully moved all the equipment from the temporary classrooms to the main school campus!
I have been having a good time in Haiti. In the USA I did not have many friends that I saw in real life on a semi-regular basis because I was home schooled for a year. My favorite thing in Haiti is having friends I see almost every day.
Sadly, my friend's Wii U lost the ability to read discs for games today, so it is basically dead. I am hoping to be able to set mine up sometime soon.
Cool! Glad things are working out for you (besides the Wii U issue)
If needed I can try to give a few pointers on the Wii U so you can boot yours up.
Your friends Wii U isn't entirely useless, as you can still buy games (new and old) from the Eshop. However the games may be region specific (which I think means you can only play games in certain countries, like Japan, USA, and Europe to name a couple), might have to buy them again (some cost $60-70, mostly newer games), and can really bog down the amount of space the Wii U has if you buy the game digitally (some take 1-2 GB to download!)
Sorry about the lack of posts, but Jr High/Middle School is time consuming....
I don't have much time, but my mom is really sick, and needs prayer. She can't eat much, and has no desire to eat. she is in pain constantly, and she is taking as much pain medicine as she can. Please Pray.
I failed to keep up with this thread and didn't know that your mother was sick. It's been almost four weeks since your post about your mother. How is she? What's wrong?
