And it is for this reason CCGR was declared "Win".

Except then you miss out on a ton of stuff the Mac is known for, not the least of which reliability.ccgr wrote:better yet? Sell your mac and get a PC.
I'd rather have the choice to boot OSes at my fingertips, as opposed to being constrained to one.
Also, this point is moot with the advent of Windows 8.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Sorry, but unlike every other PC lover on this site- I NEED THIS LAPTOP FOR MY CLASSES. So cut me some slack.

Hey, I have a MacBook and I adore it. The biggest complaint I have aside from software compatibility (Which is being remedied) and price is that the window manager...is pretty bad. The rest of the user interface is slick, the operating system runs fast, and the best part: I can use my favorite UNIX commands whenever I want to!
Also, shell scripting > batch scripting. For realz. I have to write both for my (Current) job, and let me tell you, shell beats out batch or powershell any day.

I'm not sure if I ever seen anybody argue that batch scripting was better. It's horrendous and I hate doing it, and shell scripting is pretty spiffy.
I'll grant that the only good thing about the mac is the os is built on unix. Other than that, it's communist head cheese.

Communist head cheese?
That's strange.
Thing is, I love my Mac. I don't love the price. I love Windows, too, to be honest, and I love screwing around in both systems.
To tell the truth, I think anyone who favors one operating system over the other beyond preference doesn't really appreciate computers, and is probably forgetting Microsoft Bob.

I've also heard good things about Macs, but I still prefer the "mainstream" choice. I'm just not enough of a hipster.

Burnination. Party of 1.
For mahself, I feel bad that this is sort of cluttering up Noroom's game thread, so perhaps it should be moved to a 'Mac vs PC' thread?
I mean...people looking up stuff for a new Christian game probably don't want to have to sort through 15 pages of people complaining and arguing.
