Turn off gibs? Will not work. Unless Google has an answer that I don't. Yeah, I'd try googling it.

However, the CCGR server has gore disabled, and if you DO find a nifty looking item called "pyrovision goggles", they turn off gore too.

i feel bad i missed so many years of fun as i just joined tho i first touched the game years ago, but then it was a bad experience especially if you join a weaker underpowered team and i didnt know its mechanics at all or class duties. Got bludgeoned and frustrated off the game, i went to play AVA instead. then last month, Dec. i decided to give the game a chance again since i got a new laptop. maps and classes were all still new to me. only class i knew then was medic, soldier and scout.
but this time i got the hang of it. close to 200 achievements already, 100 hours gameplay

I think I'll be taking something of an extended break (I don't want to exactly divulge into why). I think 480 hours of gameplay and 260 achievements could be called sufficient progress.

Recently started playing this game and love it!

Team Fortress 2 is one of my favorite games, and there's actually a code you can type into "launch options" on Steam to disable violence:
-sillygibs +violence_ablood 0 +violence_agibs 0 +violence_hblood 0 +violence_hgibs 0
Just copy and paste that into "launch options" under properties when you right click TF2 on your Steam library.

After seeing all of you loving TeamFortress two . I am considering getting it .

Its my favorite shooter game too, I like to play the Soldier.
