I just couldn't get into that game, and not for lack of trying.
The world just feels so lonely... No companions, few friendly NPCs, and a massive world... If you play, play with a friend, because that truly is the only way to have fun.

It's actually very... underwhelming compared to the actual game. Where the game itself is like a Splinter Cell mixed with Bioshock, the demo is... just... there. XDDeepfreeze32 wrote:Batman: Arkham Asylum demo.

In other words, if you find the game somewhere for cheap, pick it up. It's really good, and almost nothing like the demo.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

This is definitely the case.Drewsov wrote:It's actually very... underwhelming compared to the actual game. Where the game itself is like a Splinter Cell mixed with Bioshock, the demo is... just... there. XD

If you don't want it, no skin off my back.
But this is really one of the worst demos I've ever played in terms of a demo giving me a chance to experience the game. It's soooooo different it's unreal. The full game is awesome. Deserving of the high praise it gets.
The demo is crappy, boring, bleh.
Also... last played...
Dragon Age: Origins
I am so in heart with this game right now. O.o

More Reach.
I finished up all four daily challenges. I have 7 challenges this week and I'm hoping I can get 9 out of the remaining 12 this week for the 16000 point weekly challenge. I'm getting close to Lt. Colonel so it would really help.

I doubt I'll get it, even for cheap, unless I can play the full game at a friends house or have it loaned to me. Same deal I have with Scott Pilgrim, I'm just not interested enough to put my money on the line.
Minecraft.
Epic. I need alpha. XD

Minecraft.
So simple, yet so entertaining. Even on classic mode...I really want to buy it and try out the zombie mode thing. Or adventure, whatever it be called now.
Good stuff.

Infamous (I refuse to use the medial capital
)
So much fun. A little repetitive (I gotta go into the sewers again?)... but a ton of fun... really cool... awesome design and presentation. I heart it. A ton.
Also... played a little...
God of War Collection
Battling a hydra. Had to do tightrope sections, though... and went back to Infamous. I hate tightrope segments in this game. So much.
...and...
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Played some local multiplayer cat-and-mouse with my sister. Fun times. Gun recoil is so good in this game. Seriously... fire shotty? Totally lose target. O.o

Dragon Age: Origins
I'm about 14 hours in, still gotta do about three major chunks of the game before I can progress further (Ashes, Dwarves, Elves). I'm using a Dwarf Rogue (backstabbing Assassin he is) so far, he kills fools dead. I did have a Dwarven Tank for about 9 hours, and a Human Mage for about 3 before settling on this guy. Other than a crash to desktop once in awhile, I can't find anything to fault the game for as of yet. Voice acting, graphics, music, combat, pacing, character interaction, and just about every other aspect of this game is rock solid. No pentagrams or "true" occult to be found in the game. Digging the cultures, races, and storyline a lot.
Still going to be another week or two before I actually complete it, however. Epic game is epic.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.
For teh compy. Fun enough, but frankly, the aiming is wack. From 200 feet I can't make a headshot with a Garand, but apparently can by firing off a few bursts with my Thompson. Dun even ask why the Colt 45 seems more powerful than the Garand. XD
Still...brought back memories. <3
