Lol, the only reason I was truly interested in Legos was for the old Lego Star Wars. I have ALWAYS been a bit of a Star Wars freak now that I think about it. I'm not old enough to remember Legos before Lego Star Wars.
What about music? Favorite genre/artist/album/song?
Don't ask.

Tales like this make me glad that my wife and I are homeschooling our kids.ScotchRobbins wrote: I will agree with you: I'm still in my youth at 16. However, at half my age, I didn't know anybody at school who was pregnant, the kid next to me never pulled a small bong out of his pocket, and I never got pounded with homework first day in a new class, all of which happened within the last week.

Speaking of childhood... I used to love Transformers as a kid. I still like them, and have been trying to pass this along to my own kids. Did you / do you like Transformers? Did you have a favorite?

We would be here all day. I am a music fiend. I love every song I've ever bought (well, close, anyway).Emwok wrote:Lol, the only reason I was truly interested in Legos was for the old Lego Star Wars. But if I had to give you an idea of my tastes, I would submit "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole, "Finale" by Madeon, "Electric Worry" by Clutch, and "All Along the Watchtower" by Jimmi Hendrix.
You made the right choice homeschooling your kids. Describing my schoolmates would sound vaguely like one of Rorschach's monologues (well, some of them anyway - there are still more than 10 good people there, so I guess we're not quite Sodom or Gomorrah).Sstavix wrote:Tales like this make me glad that my wife and I are homeschooling our kids.ScotchRobbins wrote: I will agree with you: I'm still in my youth at 16. Transformers? No, I never got into them, unfortunately. Never stuck. The TV show never caught my eye, and Michael Bay made it certain I won't see the movies (EXPLOSIONS EVERYWHAR!!!). However, when I was in 1st-3rd grade, they were nearly unparalleled as the coolest toy there was. A toy car and an action figure! Imagine that.

I'm homeschooled too! I like it a lot. Especially because if I work hard, then I can get everything done before lunch.Sstavix wrote: Tales like this make me glad that my wife and I are homeschooling our kids.![]()

Awesome song. Then again, Hendrix was one of the greatest guitarists who ever lived....ScotchRobbins wrote: "All Along the Watchtower" by Jimmi Hendrix.

Eh, despite having the ideal physique for swimming (long and thin albeit still strong), and I have great lungs, I never got into competative swimming. I did wrestle though last year (NOT AN EASY SPORT).Emwok wrote:I'm homeschooled too! I like it a lot. For starters, I've been playing guitar for over a decade now, so I'll put myself on that list.Sstavix wrote:Awesome song. Then again, Hendrix was one of the greatest guitarists who ever lived....ScotchRobbins wrote: "All Along the Watchtower" by Jimmi Hendrix.

Even if I despise Avenged Sevenfold's music... their guitarist holds some mad records.
Eric Clapton. There's a guitarist.

I don't have the build if a swimmer, but I did it anyway and loved it. I play(ed) the guitar.

Is it a thumbs up for you? It's a green square with a white plus for me.

They're pretty good stuff. The old stuff is pretty good, the new one was good enough for me to beat, and Super Mario Galaxy is the caviar of the Wii's gaming library.Emwok wrote:I don't have the build if a swimmer, but I did it anyway and loved it. I play(ed) the guitar.

Click the little plus under my reputation point box. THE GREENONE. But yeah. Eric Clapton's some pretty good stuff. Learned how to play "Sunshine of your Love" on the guitar. Good stuff.Sstavix wrote:How do you give rep points? You deserve one for this.ScotchRobbins wrote: Eric Clapton. There's a guitarist.
No, it's a plus. We just assumed it was a thumbs-up because the red was easier to identify with it's thumbs-down.ccgr wrote:Is it a thumbs up for you? It's a green square with a white plus for me.

OK, figured it out. Reputation points and the green square or thumbs down isn't available in all the board themes, such as the Macinscott one I was using. And in another one (Black Pearl, I believe) it popped up an error message, instead. Works in the default Starcraft theme, though.

Goths? Nope. I enjoy sunlight far too much to be Goth. Gothic architecture is nifty though.
Some of them are nifty. Not a huge fan if they're packing killer venom. But those jumping spiders you find on walls or occasionally in sinks... those are always fun to bother with your finger or the end of a pencil or something.Emwok wrote:Oops. Yes that's what it is.
