I'm playing it on my PS3. My problems with the climbing is just the way it's designed. I'm not a fan of auto-climbing, where you hold one button to climb. Granted, though, it's a lot better than most of the other games I've played that attempted to do this. Another problem, is I've noticed that sometimes Ezio would decide to jump off the roof and purposely miss the next platform. I'd be more annoyed by it if it wasn't so funny when it happens.airpa wrote:Pretty sure it gets better. Are you playing it on PC? I played the first two on PC and didn't like the climbing mechanic much either but once I played Brotherhood on my 360 I enjoyed it more. Might just be the games though.Krytae wrote:Assassin's Creed 2.
It's okay so far. The one thing I dislike about Assassin's Creed is the climbing mechanic. It can be unresponsive. Then again, I've only played the first two so I'm not sure if they made it better in the newer games.

Although, I got used to it eventually and the game is a blast. I'm at the 9th sequence, and man, this game is blowing me away right now. I liked the first one's story, but I felt like it got repetitive really, really quickly. This game has yet to feel repetitive. Amazing game so far!
