Still haven't beaten that. I didn't like it as much as most people do.

Oddworld: Strangers Wrath.

I'm not going to call it an odd game...because that's too easy even for me.

Anyway, it's strange (heh) because...by the end of the game, you're playing a completely different game than when you started. Even the mechanics are changed somewhat. Didna see the ending coming...at all. Shocker. Was kind of a cliffhanger...but still enough of a resolution.

Language is terrible. Pretty much everything but the F word, repeated again, and again, and then muttered by these adorable (but foul mouthed) little fish creatures. Part of being a bounty hunter I 'spose.

Still, I liked it. Spaghetti western combined with Shrek, ending with a quote from the Sioux nation.

Edit: Two for one special. O_o If I'd known I was that close to the end of it, I'dve finished it a few days ago.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

Amazing game. Pretty much. As awesome as it was, it was missing something...one of those things you don't miss unless it isn't there, and can't quite put your finger on. It got repetitive at times. and I beat it in just under 7 hours so rather short. Story was cool, liked the ending. There were parts of it that seemed as though it had pieces cut out. Not sure if something was lost in the journey between consoles, or if that was just bad scripting.

Still, good ending+Controlling the force and a lightsaber with the Wiimote (and using said force to toss said lightsaber and kabob about 500 stormtroopers over the course of the game) equals awesome time. XD

My only complaints would be repetition, lady-types wearing nearly nothing, and everyone but the secret apprentice and Darth Vader had terrible voice overs. And General Kota was good too.

Shadow the Hedgehog.

Twice, actually. There are ten different endings. O_O It took me around seven hours to beat the hero ending, and about 2 to get the normal (which...was actually rather depressing) ending. XD Endings 1-9 are, in fact, all depressing. The hero ending is good, if cheesy. But the annoying thing is...after you've beaten the game ten times, you get the REAL eleventh ending...I can't decide whether I'm impressed or annoyed about that fact. As it is, I just looked it up and read it...I'm uncertain I liked the game enough to beat it eleven (the final ending has a bonus level) times.

Anyway, the game was a combo of frustrating and awesome. Frustrating, because the speed aspect was killed during the hero/evil missions, as you had to stop and complete objectives...which meant you had to deal with a camera bordering on terrible (it would simply stop working at times. Usually during a platform segment) and combat that was just OK. The speed though. Oh the speed. The normal missions (of a choice between hero, dark, or normal) were just running through a level, wreaking havoc if you could. And they were awesome. XD So, so fast.

There's also several hundred uses of the D-word. Shadow says it frequently in dialog, whenever you get hit, and whenever you die. Literally, every time you get hit. I 'spose that depends on how good you are though. XD They also removed the Sonic standard of "get hit, lose all your rings". It's been replaced by a far better system of losing five rings per hit. And not to mention the really funny/lame lines and talkings...but that's expected.

Fun game.

Really good stuff, really satisfied with how it ended. Now I just need to get the second one. I'll probably pick it up next week sometime.

Mass Effect 2.

My gosh, that game was epic. A bit on the shorter side for an RPG (so was ME1, in my opinion. But I guess 17.5 hours isn't too bad), but that didn't detract from the game at all. The ending was the best I've seen since . . . ever.

I absolutely LOVED how my choices (esp. the ones from the original ME!) affected the game in a dynamic way.

I'm not playing through again, but this time as a Renegade. :D

(My immediate attempt at a replay is a testament to how great this game is, since I have never replayed a game within such a short time interval)

Loved it to pieces. I stand by my opinion that this was one of the best singleplayer FPS campaigns.

Absolutely hated the end.

Really solid stuff. Can't wait for Episode 3, if it ever comes.

The Witcher.

Wow. I may just write a review of this sucker, it basically rocks my socks. It has it's share of flaws, namely wonky combat and an annoying meditation system, but the story is just incredible.

Oh man. Probably the best game I've played this year. So dark. O.o
