Anime-Inspired Bullet Hell Homura Hime Launches Today!

The debut title from Crimson Dusk will come to Nintendo Switch 2 later this year!

Today, PLAYISM is proud to announce that Homura Hime, the 3D action indie game by Taiwanese studio Crimson Dusk, has been released on Steam today, March 4, 2026! The game is also set to release on the Nintendo Switch 2 within the year, so please look forward to further announcements.



Homura Hime is a 3D action game that strives to combine stunning anime visuals with gripping bullet hell combat. Fight archdemons born from strong emotions and learn their stories by Homura Hime's side.

Welcome to a world where humans and demons coexist. Souls harboring strong emotions and deep regrets at their time of death are transformed into Archdemons. Archdemons have the power to corrupt the foundation of the world and contaminate their surroundings. Creatures tainted by this demonic power turn into lowly monsters that operate solely on raw instinct.

Faced with the threat to the world posed by five extremely powerful demon girls, the High Priestess is forced to dispatch Homura Hime—the "Flame Princess" and the strongest exorcist of them all—and her aide, Ann, who are now entrusted with the divine mission of purifying the world and defeating all demons. Together, they must confront and cleanse the archdemons bound by these powerful "emotions."

Through these battles, they will uncover the truth behind the archdemons they face... and Homura Hime herself.

You can even dodge or parry in the middle of an attack, allowing you to control the flow of combat and chain your actions together flawlessly... if you have the skill.

Explore stages and visit Kushinada's shop to obtain various equipment, skills, and combos. From powerful blows that knock back multiple enemies to ranged attacks with sweeping slashes, mix and match your favorite moves to discover your own unique fighting style.

Exorcize Powerful Archdemons!

Waiting at the end of every stage is a powerful archdemon born from strong emotions and sentimental attachments. Exorcize them and learn the truth behind them and the world around you.

Colorful Cast of Voiced Characters!

From the protagonist Homura Hime (VA: Tomori Kusunoki) and her aide Ann (VA: Manaka Iwami) to the various archdemons and supporting characters, meet a colorful cast of characters throughout the story, voiced in Japanese.
