LOS ANGELES – February 12, 2026 – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KONAMI) today announced its story-driven, adventure platformer Darwin’s Paradox! will release April 2 on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Epic Games Store, and Steam® with pre-orders starting today. Created in partnership with ZDT Studio, a French independent studio comprised of a handful of passionate developers, Darwin’s Paradox! invites players to tap into their wild side as Darwin – a cunning cephalopod naturally equipped with camouflage, suction-covered arms for scaling, and an ink shooter to distract dangerous predators and other threats.

Bonus items for players who pre-order include the “Psyched” and “Dotted” skins for Darwin for the main game.

In Darwin’s Paradox!, players can traverse challenging platforming levels with the skills of an octopus on a wild odyssey to return to sea. The game pulls visual inspiration from high-end animated films in combination with innovative gameplay to give players a unique experience.



Tactical tentacle action:

A new playable demo for Darwin’s Paradox! is available today on PlayStation®5 , Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo™ Switch 2, PC via the Epic Games Store, Steam® offering players a chance to play a section of the game ahead of its full launch. The demo features subtle call backs to KONAMI’s other well-known espionage tactician and master of stealth. Darwin’s character model will also sport an exclusive “Snake” skin for a portion of the demo. This unique skin will be added as an Easter Egg for players to find in the main game.
