The Game Industry Conference confirms its place among Europe’s top industry events.


This year, over 3,400 participants and industry representatives gathered in Poznań, Poland, for the region’s premier gaming event, as the Game Industry Conference continued to expand and surpass previous records.

Poznan, Poland - October 29th, 2025: Last Sunday, October 26, the Game Industry Conference (GIC) concluded in Poznań, Poland. This year marked the 18th edition of GIC, and the conference has truly established itself as the biggest and most significant business event for professionals in the gamedev industry and other technological sectors. A record number of 3423 business attendees and participants gathered for hundreds of high-quality talks and networking opportunities.

Over the course of several days, 248 professional talk sessions, panels, and roundtables took place, featuring over 300 speakers across 13 parallel stages This year’s conference offered more side events than ever before, including CTRL + ALT + PROMOTE - Games Marketing Summit, Legal Summit, GameDev Investment Forum, Women in Games Day, Geek StartUPs Zone, AI SUMMIT 2025, Mobile Summit, and HowToMultiplayer - Dev Summit. Attendees enjoyed traditional, complimentary city tours showcasing Poznan’s most beautiful landmarks. Every aspect of the event was expertly prepared and executed with the support of generous sponsors and dedicated conference partners.

Beyond hours of lectures and numerous meetings, the Game Industry Conference featured an extensive B2B zone, which this year hosted 57 booths. Major companies, including AMD, 11 Bit Studios, and Activision Elsewhere, participated and opened doors to new candidates during one of the largest job fairs in the EU.

Friday, 24 October marked the much-anticipated Central and Eastern European Game Awards (CEEGA), where the top honor went to Warhorse Studios for their game Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. These awards were born from the collaboration of 16 industry associations across Eastern Europe, reinforcing the strength and unity of the region's gaming industry. This year, the CEEGA Awards once again included the special “Code the Rights” categories, presented by Amnesty International in collaboration with industry experts. In the “Best Game” category, nominees featured titles released between August 2024 and August 2025 that explored themes of exclusion, acceptance, and equality. The 2025 award was presented to Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector by Jump Over The Age. Additionally, a “special award” for contribution to promoting equality was granted to Quantic Dream for Detroit: Become Human.
