Columbus, Ohio, 2 September 2025 | Indie studio Software Verde is excited to announce the release date of Mordfield Command, a survival-driven 4X strategy game where humanity wages war against a ruthless controlling AI. Marking the studio’s first release, the debut title will arrive October 23, 2025. Alongside the announcement, a new trailer has been released, highlighting the high-stakes struggle for humanity’s survival against Algorithm Alpha, a ruthless AI bent on erasing its creators.

Mordfield Command blends survival-driven 4X strategy with turn-based combat and wave-defense gameplay. Build fortified bases, carefully allocate scarce resources, and expand your reach through upgrades and satellite cities. Every turn demands adaptation as the enemy grows stronger, forcing you to shift tactics and launch decisive counterattacks.

Action Point Economy — Allocate action points wisely to maximize tactical options each turn. Every choice can make the difference between survival and annihilation.

Procedural Map Generation – Each playthrough unfolds on a unique battlefield. No two matches are alike, keeping strategies fresh and unpredictable.

Optional Timed Rounds – Every second counts. Enable 15- or 30-second turns to make critical decisions under pressure.

Custom Map Editor – Forge your own battlefields and missions. Share creations with the community and test strategies in PvP showdowns.

Evolving Terrain – Battlefields respond to combat. Damaged areas become harder to traverse, forcing you to adapt your strategy every turn.

Note: The demo features a 75-round turn limit and is resource-limited. PvP, campaign mode, operations, and full tech resources will be available at release.
