Macclesfield, UK – 29th August, 2025. Publisher Silver Lining Interactive and developer Ciaran Games LLC have hoisted the black flag and revealed a wickedly brutal new weapons trailer for upcoming PC retro shooter Captain Wayne – Vacation Desperation during The MIX Fall Showcase.

Coming to PC via Steam later this year, this gloriously gory, hand-drawn tale of revenge and mayhem delivers old-school shooter carnage with a swashbuckling, twin-barreled twist. In his quest for vengeance against the ruthless mercenary gang known as the “Killer Whales,” Captain Wayne is packing an arsenal of destruction that’d make even the saltiest sea dog tremble.

Fueled by the red mist of revenge, Wayne is ready to turn Orca Isle into a blood-soaked battlefield. From chain-gun fingers to explosive Boom Brew, from fruity-but-fatal coconuts and watermelons to the Captain’s own bone-breaking fists, this is one vacation that comes with no return ticket. And if all else fails, there’s always the Captain’s twin-barrel “Ol’ Reliable” shotgun arm (bolted on after a deadly dance with the fabled Vampire Whale), guaranteed to blast enemies into red mist faster than you can say “yo-ho-ho.”
