Lovecraftian FPS Beneath Coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S

PC Demo is Available on Today Until August 4th

Watford, United Kingdom – 29th of July 2025 – Wired Productions and developer Camel 101 are excited to confirm that Beneath, the intense first-person Lovecraftian horror shooter is officially coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, delivering classic gunplay with creepy atmospheric gameplay and heart-pounding horror set deep below the ocean's surface.



But you don’t have to wait to experience the terror, a brand-new PC demo is out now on Steam, giving players a limited-time chance to step into the diving suit and face the horrors that lurk in the deep. The demo is available until August 4th.

Critics and content creators are already diving into the game, with previews now live across major gaming outlets.

“We grew up playing games like F.E.A.R. on the PS3,” said Bruno and Ricardo Cesteiro, the brotherly duo behind studio Camel 101. “That blend of tight gunplay and supernatural suspense made a huge impact on us. With Beneath, we wanted to create a full-length, narrative-first game that recaptures that feeling - no online mode, no microtransactions. Just you, your instincts, and a lot of ammo.”

Beneath promises a Lovecraftian voyage into first-person survival horror, blending pulse-pounding action, psychological tension, and atmospheric storytelling into an unforgettable experience. Follow seasoned diver Noah Quinn as his routine expedition spirals into chaos, trapping him deep beneath the ocean's surface alongside an ancient malevolence. With supplies dwindling and nightmarish creatures closing in, Noah must confront grotesque mutations, encroaching madness, and a sinister conspiracy that threatens humanity itself.

The team is targeting 4K at 60fps, delivering a fluid and terrifyingly beautiful experience across current-gen platforms.
