Paris, June 18th 2025 - Playdigious Originals Celebrates the launch of its latest game! The narrative tactical card game Crown Gambit developed by Wild Wits Games is now available on PC and Mac through [Steam].

In a capital city gripped by chaos, the players must prevent the fall of the kingdom of Meodred. They embody three intrepid paladins to navigate these political turbulences. After pledging allegiance to one of the throne's contenders, they will need to help their champion seize power. Facing the kingdom's stakes, politics, magic, and destiny will intertwine. Being faithful to their own principles will be key.

A game of choices with multiple endings..

In Crown Gambit, every dialogue, every path, every step is an opportunity to choose your own way. “Throughout their journey within the kingdom of Meodred, the players will be confronted with themselves. All choices are difficult; there will be no perfect choices and they'll have to live with them! That’s the whole point of the game,” declares Corto Laly, co-founder of development studio Wild Wits.

…where the use of Ancestral Grace brings its share of consequences!

Power is a double-edged sword: by choosing to invoke the dark powers of Ancestral Grace, players will strike devastating blows, but the price of this divine power might just be their soul... This power boosts attacks and allows players to win more easily, but it must be used wisely, at the risk of no longer being master of their own choices when crucial decisions will need to be made.

GAME FEATURES:

Lead a Team of Three Bold Paladins: Players will take charge of Aliza, the bloodthirsty swordswoman; Hael, the radiant mace-wielding cleric; and Rollo, the cunning rogue armed with his crushing anchor. Together, they must navigate the chaos of political turmoil.
Strategic Deck Preparation: Each paladin’s deck must be meticulously crafted to overcome the challenges ahead. Synergizing abilities and fostering a well-coordinated team will be key to defeating foes in style—every move matters!
