Top-Down Open World Sci-Fi Adventure VAGRIENT Launches on Steam Q1 2025

Adelaide, Australia - March 21, 2025 | Adelaide-based Andrew "VAGRIENT" Bray's debut title VAGRIENT is out now on Steam.

VAGRIENT is a top-down open word 2D action adventure set in a science fiction universe. You play as the titular character himself, where, after being separated from his clan at war in another solar system, he must restore power to the corrupted warpgate.

In order to get back to his home planet, he'll explore a vast solar system in the hope of finding that which he desires. But the journey won't be easy; Vagrient will encounter hostile alien lifeforms and all manner of dangerous entities.

Vagrient isn't defenceless, though. In VAGRIENT, the health and energy systems are combined into one, causing the player to carefully consider their actions in both combat and puzzle-solving situations. As you progress, you'll unlock new skills that rely on your energy and gain permanent upgrades.

Relics are waiting to be discovered throughout the universe, which can be utilised to further enhance Vagrient's skills.

VAGRIENT is now available on PC (via Steam) for US$9.99 with a 25% launch discount for its first week. For more information, be sure to follow the developer on the official @VagrientGame Twitter (X) page.
