Anteater & Decorations Updates Coming to PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X|S



The Green Hell Anteater update is so much more than just anteaters! Sure, the anteater is the main character and all, but this update also adds new mechanics and constructions to the game:

New Animal - Giant Anteater - The main character of the update - the giant anteater! Some call them amusing, some think they’re cute, but they can be very aggressive - so the players need to watch out!
New Gameplay Mechanic - Spawning Anthills - While anthills themselves aren’t a new addition to Green Hell as players know it— now they can destroy them! But not for forever - ants will always find a new spot to build a colony in a nearby area.
New Animals in Animal Pen - Players can now breed Armadillos, Three-banded Armadillos, and—of course—Giant Anteaters!
New Gameplay Mechanic - Composter/Compost - Thanks to this simple construction, players can now dispose of such things as rotten meat, spoiled food, leaves, animal droppings, and more! In turn, it will create compost for plants as well as facilitate insect production to feed tame Armadillos and Anteaters.
New Construction - Feeding Trough (Insects) - Using this new construction, players can easily feed their anteaters and armadillos with insects. Bon appétit!
New Gameplay Mechanic/Construction - Parrot Keeping/Parrot Nest - Now, players can lure parrots into their base. When they become safe and comfy the players will be rewarded with parrot feathers and eggs.

Along with the Anteater Update, console players will receive the highly anticipated Decorations Update!

The Decorations update features a craftable decorations table, painted furniture, mounted animals/trophies, new constructions, lighting, and more!

New mechanic - Painting - After acquiring Paints made from different bugs and other colorful elements, players can paint their base and color the furniture.
New construction - Workbench - It enables the crafting of all different kinds of decorations for the base.
New construction - Decorations - With the Workbench one can craft a table, chair, bench, nightstand, various paintings, as well as rope, leaf and bone decorations, or even Animal Trophies to show off hunting skills!
New construction - Armor Stand & Arrow Holder - New Stands allow for storing Arrows securely and showcase the neatly crafted Armor on a display they deserve.
New construction - Torch Stand & Torch Holder - The Torch Holders and Torch stands inside a base will set a proper mood at night or illuminate the wilderness.
New mechanic - Rearranging - Now the players can rearrange the decorations they’ve created and move them to another place without a fuss.

Apart from those 2 content updates, console players will receive the highly anticipated Performance and Quality mode switch, as well as additional controller presets, all coming for free for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S!
