Hello my CCG friends!

My wife and I are getting packed up to depart for the longest trip I've ever been on. Traveling to China, New Zealand, and Australia over many many weeks, which will log about 80 hours in airplane rides alone! I wanted to take a minute to let everyone know, since I likely won't be on the boards for a while as a result, unless there's time somewhere with WiFi to say hi. But probably not. Anyway, if you have a moment to pray for traveling mercies and peace for us I would appreciate it. (I am not a huge fan of air travel, partly because of anxiety issues and partly because of being very tall and having zero legroom for 14 hours at a time. But at least I'll get a lot of good practice dealing with it!)

If all goes well, upon returning I'll stop by here and post some pictures or something. :)

In the meantime, be well and I wish you a fabulous Lenten season! Much love!

WOW, yes, that is a big trip. I've never been outside the continental U.S. that I can remember, myself. (My parents took me to Canada once when I was like 4 but I obviously don't remember that.)

Many thanks for the prayers, happy to report this morning I am back at my desk safe and sound and with a very productive trip!

It was a wonderful time of seeing sights and experiencing new places and things, and on top of that I was able to hear some deeply spiritual concepts that I'm hopeful will change the rest of my life. :)

Also very glad to be back with you all! Hope you had a beautiful Lenten season. Happy Good Friday!
