My mother had some scary things show up in a recent medical exam, and today found out it was not cancerous. While I know God has it all in His hands regardless, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't happy and relieved of this result instead of something more life-threatening. We all know how this part of the journey ends, and it always ends there, but I'm thankful and singing praises that I get a little longer, be it a minute or 50 years, with my mother here on Earth.
Still some other family health things going on that are concerning, but will strive to be thankful in all circumstances and keep appreciating these moments in the here and now.
