Today (er, a few days ago) I learned that if you’re taking the temperature of something, make sure it’s on your desired conversion. Otherwise your eggnog will unknowingly heat up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, and turn into scalded milk with scrambled eggs. Gross.

I learned the other day that if you were in like 40 degree temperature for a week or 2 and get 50 degree temperature for a few days, at first it will feel pretty warm, but as the hours go by it will just feel colder and colder (as naturally 50 degree temperature feels chilly).
