My wife and I are going to attempt the Ludum Dare game jam this weekend! First time giving it a go, so we'll see what happens. I'm already tired, lol.
Anyone else here ever try it?
(If this thread is better suited to the Creative board, please feel free to move it! I debated which spot it would be best suited for, given it's about both games and creativity, ha ha.)

If anyone is interested in trying our game or reading about its production, you can find both in this post.
I'd do Ludum Dare again, with a better understanding of how now that the first time is out of the way, and if anyone has ever wanted to make a game I highly recommend something like this because even though it won't be a giant game, you will get it done in three days and it's a terrific confidence booster!

Did you get a new fish? (We needed to make that clearer but ran out of time!) You click the dead fish and can buy a new one.

Yeah, that's our fault. We didn't make it obvious enough (time constraints!!). If you want to try it again, you now know you can click the fish to buy a new fish. Your new fish's name is Mr. Fishy II, and he is blue.
