Yeah, I really, really tried to like DOTA, because it's kinda 'the' MOBA, and if you want to get 'serious' in MOBA's for esports, that seems where you go...but I couldn't. The matches carry all the stress of a MOBA, and none of the fun. XD Plus, the learning curve is more of an arch the size of the one in St. Louis.micah211 wrote: I'm glad you never heard the song, it's life changing... In both good and bad ways.
I'm not surprised you compared OW to TF2, it was similar at first but now I know that there's major differences. It's almost a moba, you can just change characters and don't have to fight towers and stuff.
I'm that guy that does play a moba, just not a very popular one. I play Paragon pretty well. I find it way more fun than League which I found more fun than Dota.
Paragon?
League though, I really enjoyed. I only quit playing it because my computer couldn't handle it after an update. I'd probably still play it if I could. Plus, while League players are turds half the time, DOTA players seem to take pleasure in being as cruel as possible. XD Especially if you're just learning.

So Paragon...it interests me. It's on the list of games I want to try, but want to be able to devote serious time to. And coming up with enough time to devote to it seems rather difficult, for some reason. That's why I like Vainglory so much; it's on my Kindle, so I can usually play a match or two while I'm watching TV or sommat. Ranked matches I cannot leave can be played on the toilet, since...well, no one's going to bother me there. >_>
The fact I can play Paragon on a console, rather than my PC, is a huge thing for me, though. And eventually, I will probably give it a go. I like Epic.
It's funny, because it's such a sad story, but the music and vocals are so good. There's probably a moral in there, too.Deepfreeze32 wrote: Well, I'm glad you like my idea. I don't know how well it would turn out, and I just don't have the time/energy to devote to it right now. I might put some more thought into it this weekend...
If you liked that, try the second (of four) movements on that album. Once again, I recommend listening to the whole thing in one go because it blends together really nicely.
Thoughts?
