I just don't much like dedicated comedy. I tend to like Drama with comedy, or action with comedy. The best example I can think of is the humor in Star Trek: It lightens the mood, and gives life to the characters, but it is not the central focus.

Embarrassing deaths in multiplayer games?

I flew majestically over a rift...and misjudged the landing. O_o

I know that feel. There have been times I was jumping across rooftops in Trouble in Terrorist Town (A GMod game mode that's like that group game Mafia with guns), and missed a jump and fell to my death, ending the round. Everyone was super confused as to what happened, and I was too embarrassed to admit the truth.

That depends on the game. Sometimes the healer is a requirement, other times you can offset the need for one if you can output enough damage quick enough. WoW raids, for instance, require having healers. On the other hand, some MOBAs allow for effective team comps without a healer.

In order to make a more effective team, is it worth it to play as a character you are unfamiliar with, or should you stick with what you know and hope skill can replace higher possible damage output?

That depends on whether the game is easy to pick up or not. If we're talking a game where knowing your character in and out is required to do well, then it's obviously better to stick with what you know. But if the game is "easy" (don't really like the word) enough to pick up a character within the span of the match, then go for it.

I was thinking of MOBAs. Vainglory, in particular. Teams are only three players, so it's fairly important to have a balanced team. You can play with a captain and two carries and do OK, but if you use two captains and either a carry or a jungler, your damage output will be too low for team fights and such, especially if your third player is a jungler. So if the other players in the lineup are captain and jungler, I usually play a carry despite my main being a captain.

But I am terrible with carry's. O_o Especially the two I have unlocked. It's like...supper time. So I debate whether it's actually worth it to play a carry for sake of team balance, or if I should just play the character I'm good at and hope skill can handle the rest.

So many miniature games, not enough players in the nearby locale?

Yep. Especially since I'm sick and tired of my current gaming group for basically endorsing jerk behavior against me. One player in particular is especially jerky to me. Nothing is said. I respond in kind. "Why are you taking this so personally."

MAYBE BECAUSE I AM A HUMAN BEING WHO HAS FEELINGS, JERKFACE.

So yeah, kinda done with my current gaming group, but the local gaming stores don't have many groups as far as I can tell. Boo.

The problem with most table top games, board games, and RPG's is usually the people you have to play with. XD

For me though, it's simply finding people to play with at all. Granted, it's not like I'm out trying very hard...but still.

Hot sandwiches, or cold sandwiches?

Referring of course to the typical sandwich, and not things like burgers or barbecue.

I like both equally, I think. There is a time and place for both.
Poker?
I like it. I don't like doing it with real money, but with chips and such it's a fun game.

If you had the ability to use your mental powers to make one food appear at any time, what would it be?

Hmm. Depending on the implementation of how it works (Like if I can get sandwiches, do I get to pick different types?), I might go with Sandwiches or Pizza. If I get no customization at all, I'll go with something safe: Corn dogs. XD
