My time on Prism ebbs and surges, depending.

Salamanders are cool, been thinking about painting some Salamanders stuff to put on eBay.

It does hurt, because more and more we see games getting released where content that would have been included in the base game is being held back as DLC... Which is making games feel less and less complete when you buy them. It's one thing if the base game is free and you have to buy content... that's easier to stomach because it just feels more honest.

I kinda hate it, honestly. I am OK with buying expansions to a base game, but the moment they leave out story missions, or something...rage. >_>

When you get a song stuck in your head, and suddenly starting singing conversations to the tune?

I don't think that's ever happened to me, but if it does now, I'm gonna blame you :P

Thanks for sharing that.

So, I can go point for point on what the fellow in the video is saying if you like, but my overall impressions are that he's got certain assumptions and expectations about the meanings of these various scriptures, which seem to him contradictory. He seems well versed in citing Scripture from both The Bible and the Book of Mormon, but he says a few things that are inaccurate from the LDS perspective. Granted, he's talking to a couple of missionaries, but keep in mind that the purpose of missionaries isn't to go out and debate people. Their training is in sharing the Gospel and answering basic questions, but at the end of the day they're young men who are perhaps not experienced enough to go toe to toe with a guy who is looking for this sort of debate. I'd be more interested in seeing a video where a guy like this engages with a more experienced and prepared opponent.

I let my 8 year old daughter watch this with me because it's an incredibly valuable teaching aid. The focus of our faith is right in the Bible, James 1:5. It tells us that if we need wisdom to ask God, who will give us the truth freely and not scold us for asking. Humans can be wrong. Preachers, missionaries, Bishops, bus drivers and yes, even us otherwise infallible software engineers 8) All can be wrong... but not Heavenly Father. He can NEVER be wrong, so if we ask Him we can absolutely trust in what He says. The dude in this video seems very well meaning, very friendly, polite and courteous, but he's a mortal man, and he can be mistaken. These missionaries have already asked of God, and He has already testified the truth to them, so this gentleman lands as a less reliable source.

I hope that answers your question? :D

I've been playing the tablet version, and really enjoying it. I'd like to get the PC version if I had a compy that could play it.

Have you gotten to play around with Java 8 (or 9) yet? If so, what do you think of the features they added?
