If only every case like this ended with such an apology.

One thing that puzzles me about the whole case is this - why did the pastor choose Whole Foods as his target? From what I've heard, Whole Foods is solidly in the left-wing camp in terms of LGBTQXYZPTAWTFBBQ issues. In fact, one article I read stated that the person who made the cake was gay! If the pastor wanted to sue a company, why sue a company that is apparently on his side in this issue?
I also have to wonder about the repercussions in terms of his ministry. Clearly he violated the 10 Commandments by bearing false witness. Does this mean he will lose his title as pastor? I'm not sure which church he's with, but it does make me wonder what his congregation thinks about him now.
